I heard so much about VoG and would like to play it, the only thing I walk into is that I havent been able to create a fireteam for it yet: not all of my friends play Destiny anymore so im stuck because of it :( So I would really love it if Bungie would create matchmaking for VoG

I remember doing it as a 27 without guides and stuff . Was so annoy able and challenging . I think I got to the gorgons and gave up haha

A few weeks back me and some friends went in... we were 5 so we got a sixth guy on an LFG forum... Us, all being well trained VoG players were certain we'd clear it in about an hour... We opened the gates to the vault on hard without a hiss, jumped down and slayed dem vex at the confluxes... that's where the fun started... - We wiped to snipe the oracles (just to make it go faster) <- no one knew where the spot was to kill the hidden left oracle So we fiddled around a bit, looked for it, finaly found it and got that part down! - No one, NOT ONE! ever ran the relic during the templar fight... <- i was the one who learned to run around with it and finaly we slayed the templar - the next part we all knew... We easly went down into the vault got the chest and got to the gorgons <- no one knew the way this was a realy hellish endavour but finaly after about 20 - 30minutes and a million deaths later we cleared that part! - Jumping the cliffs was an easy endavour since we all done it hundreds of times. - downing the gatekeeper -> EASY -> getting the oracles -> again, no one had a single clue on how to do it. Many wipes later we finaly got it right and we managed to clear it!!! - Atheon... again, no one had a clue on how to operate the relic -> many tries later we finaly managed it The whole raid took us about 3.5 - 4 hours... It was the longest VoG i've ever done and to be honnest it was the most fun i've had in a long time on destiny... we didn't have to look for the way or anything, we didn't have to explore but we had to learn the mechanics but putting together bits and pieces of things we'd see other people do. Offcourse we knew we had to kill oracles... everyone knew... but it's fairly useless to kill oracles when the other doesn't know how to cleanse yet. it was awesome! and i can now honnestly tell i can do anything in VoG. I can run relic at templar, i can do the gorgon maze, i can do the relic at the gatekeeper and i can run relic at atheon... Also i was astonished by the determination of the one american guy who joined us... he was looking to do a quick run... but he ended up learning it all together with us. Most LFG players would have left as soon they heard "no one knows how to do this part"

Yes, the raid that showed so much potential for the future and then they suddenly forgot everything that made it good and crapped out Crota. Don't get me wrong, I know Crota fits the style of the hive, but you couldn't easily made the mechanics of the fight based around the hive being itself being crazy powerful. The floor is lava bit from poe is along the path to what I would've liked to see.

I only run VoG normal mode, but I require maxed 365 gjallarhorns and level 34s
