Petition for Faction Vendors to Sell their Shaders
I'm sure a lot of people would like to see this happen. Please vote to support the cause!
Edit 1: Perhaps the shaders/ships could be available for purchase once reaching rank 35? I see in the replies that there's a lot a negativity based off the fact how hard they guided to get the faction items.
Edit 2: Wow, I wasn't expecting so much hate from Faction elitists. I'm still baffled that simple cosmetic items are the rarest items in the game and that so many people are against the idea of them being sold. Please continue the discussion!

3 답변The fact that Shader's are nothing more than a cosmetic item makes the grind some people have to get them absolutely ridiculous. For example, I've gotten to Dead Orbit Rank 78, and while I've gotten multiple copies of The Hanged Man, Bittersteel, and The Fermi Solution, I've only gotten one Nowhere, and not even a single copy of Revenant, the one Shader I've been searching for for months on end now. Quite frankly, it makes no sense whatsoever. I for one would think that a Faction would be happy to let a Guardian they happen to be sponsoring wear their colors. As for the "I had to grind out ranks to [i]earn[/i] mine, so why should Bungie let others just [b]buy[/b] them now?" argument? It's a poor excuse that only encourages having to rely on extremely spotty RNG rewards. From the start, back in Destiny's Beta, it looked like Factions were meant to sell their Shader's right off the bat, and that should've been the case since launch. And quite frankly, the elitist attitude when it comes to loot drops needs to stop. It only makes the community more toxic, and doesn't help anyone or solve anything.

I think so. it's just a shader. I think it would be cool to be able to buy them. The RNG for them can just be horrific. I definitely think factions should sell their shaders. idk abt the cost or requirements though. I suppose it should be some pretty hefty requirements.

2 답변YES. I have one Revenant but I would kill for a FWC and New Monarchy shader. It would be nice if there was a black/orange Vanguard shader as well. Reward packages are ridiculous.

This absolutely needs to happen, and I halfway expected it from HoW. Eris and Petra should be the model moving forward, even if faction shaders and ships are only available at much higher levels. I hate hearing about people who get up to crazy levels in factions and still have nothing.

작성자: CaptxnChaos 6/10/2015 7:21:05 PMI'd be fine if they made new shaders/ships that are only purchasable, and kept the other shaders/ships along with other new ones as package rewards, certain ones you can only buy and others you can only get by luck. And they could overhaul the faction system by giving you special packages every 10 or so levels different from the normal packages, where you are guaranteed at least 3-5 Motes, 3-5 Strange Coins, a weapon, an armor piece, and an emblem or a really low chance of a shader but still higher than with regular packages.
