So after using maxed out 365 arc snipers last week for Skolas, a friend of mine decided to re-roll a Her Benevolence to get void for this week. It was understood that any and all perks we're going to be cleared and he was fine with that, it was the extra, unwarned side effect that was perturbing. Upon reforging the weapon it was reset to its previous 335 damage rating and rendering the etheric light used on it wasted. To me it feels like this was unintended by the developers and should be addressed. Edit: After checking myself, it does have a warning about the ascension. Which still raises the question on whether or not it should be like that? I personally disagree with resetting ascension with it.
