Title says it all. I think it is completely unfair for PvP players to get the ability to buy etheric light when I as a PvE (PoE) only player does not. Any one else have a thought?

So the PvP community gets a chance for one week to buy two per character and its an issue? I personally don't care for PoE, so I'm happy its obtainable in ToO and Iron Banana. I got three just running a 9-0 last week and one from NF. They will eventually be the new ascendant shards for the hard core players. HoW is still fresh, don't milk the cow dry immediately.

You get six a week minimum across three characters, they give you a chance for 12, and you're bitching about it? Maybe you should try experiencing more in the game, instead of limiting yourself to just certain activities.

Bungie needs to keep both parts of this game active to satisfy Activision and the shareholders of that company. By ensuring a much needed item can be purchased within a particular game mode this increases the play time for that game mode. This isn't about making sure the player base has equal access but about keeping their various game modes populated to display the "success" of this game over a period of time.

작성자: PEARLMEISTERR 6/3/2015 11:50:27 AMI think after reading all the negative comments that it should be said that the original posters issue is that you can buy it from the iron banner vendor just by ranking up and at any level. In PVE you get a very rare chance of it dropping from a nightfall or guaranteed chance if you are high enough level to do too of the hardest level POE runs. Im all for it being sold to Iron Banner players but i still think an option for pve players to at least buy two pieces a month would be fair too because now pvp players who do play pve too have more options to gain more of it as you guys can also do POE and have the added bonus of getting to the higher gear to do the harder runs on POE. I dont do PVP not because i dont want to just simply because i am rubbish at it as my quest for a thorn over the last few months has proved.

1 답변Why can't you play both pvp and pve never understood why some people only play one that's like playing half the game

작성자: Moose (Retired) 6/3/2015 1:38:56 PMBecause this is a PvP game with a weak PvE intro game story to bring in new players. I'm not good at PvP so I am stuck more or less where I am. I continue to play for the mindless time kill (before work, during lunch, after dinner, etc.) and the hope that some of the materials I am collecting (motes, coins, etc.) will become very useful beyond the occasional Xûrgram® or Xûrgun® purchase!

I am a solo player in PvE because I enjoy playing at my own pace. I hate even strikes or nightfall because everyone wants to run run run! Quit slacking noob! They bump me and shoot me it I don't play at their pace or skill level. I am not bashing anyone for this ok? I just want to play Destiny, a game I love, my way without being harassed. Destiny, please continue providing new missions and goals for casual players like me. Fast pace warriors can just ignore them if it is too boring for them. Not everyone wants to be a Rambo.

Look at it this way... if you're Gung ho- only PvE, that's all you play and that's all you know.... then you've probably mastered prison of elders. Maybe you have a few characters so you beat the 34 alone 3 times a week. So weekly, you can get three pieces, 6 if you do the 35 as well. Now Gung ho all I play is crucible guy forget that pve stuff, well he has Trials for the weekend, and if he can rank high enough he can get a few pieces too. In my belief, as a person who hasn't beaten the 35 PoE yet or gone far enough in Trials to earn etheric light or visit mercury, personally I believe trials will be harder. Too many Changing variables as you face different teams. Iron banner is opening a way for people to get etheric light who aren't the crazy best at cruicible/trials, or beastly in PoE. Let us grind it out, hit rank three, maybe 5, get a couple pieces. And honestly... how does a pvp player getting etheric light in any way, shape or form effect you if you're strictly PvE? If anything, it'll make them a stronger player with better weapons/armor if you happen to be in a fireteam with them. My suggestion, with respect intended... don't hold out your left hand for something when the games offering you a way to grab it with your right. Strap on some gear, go play a few rounds of iron banner, in minimal doses so you don't ger aggravated. Make sure you buy the buff from him and pick up bounties (all of em, even if you don't think you can do it, you'll be suprised. I only get ten straight kills if I don't have the bounty lol) and give it a shot. You CAN hit rank 3, being completely new to iron banner.

Because iron banner is simply a grind, not a reward of skill in any way so it's easy to get for pve players. Plus we have guaranteed etheric light rewards where pvp doesn't unless they play trials. Good luck to your average pvp player in that one
