You can't really compare the two. A good comparison would be Bioshock Infinite and yet the end product still delivered immensely! And that employe may have been just a troll but that game-tester seems legit if you read up on it.
And speculation helps everyone! It's not really speculation! The proof is right in front of you! The E3 trailer with the Reef staring us in the face for one and all the other videos of 'we can go there right now!'.
And I get that all games can't be winners. Not every game will blow heads out of the water but when a game company uses their good name and paints their game to be something it's not and fool massive amounts of people to buy it and then cut content and sell it back to us?
Something is wrong there and I'm sorry if you're annoyed at people who call it out.
You and everyone else wanted the game to be what Bungie said it would be and i'm sure we would all have enjoyed it that much more than the 'grind for item' Destiny is now
The Reef is in the game now, isn't it. We also went there briefly in the vanilla story aswell to see the queen, didn't we? (or was it in TDB,? Can't remember) And didn't Bungie say from the beginning that Destiny is a project spanning over 10 years? Europe, Saturn and all other locations may , and probably will come for us in the this timeframe. If in 9.5 years something of that still aint in the game, then by all means call them on their lies.

Tldr, as for your spoiler, yeah I would've loved it. But as consumers were giving carte blanche developers to -blam!- us over by pre-ordering or whatever based on these videos. If you do that you have no right to complain. Nothing in this world be it movies, books, business' etc end up exactly how they intend to be by the time they are complete. But people expect a guarantee that is none existent. Oh and the time difference doesn't matter, game development and preview content is exactly the same now as it was then. The video I linked is from e3 2000, so why can you ignore that and not one from e3 2013, exact same event.

작성자: John6Max4 6/2/2015 12:55:15 PMAh couldn't handle the reef being sold as dlc when it's clearly seen in this release trailer? Okay lets move past that
also I don't think you bought Halo then discovered you needed an Xbox to play it and couldn't play it on your computer
The reason people buy games is cause it interests them. Destiny interested a lot of people cause of the 'living universe' and 'exploration' it will have and 'if you see it you can go there' and raids and it seemed legit. Every trailer and vidoc and panel suggested, no.....told us so! Now please tell me where Bungie told us 'Ummm guys sorry but those trailers and panels and vidocs are outdated. Each and every one of them' Show me that and I'll take everything back. I think when a product is changed very very drastically such as Destiny was, buyers deserve to know.

작성자: Peloquinsoul 6/2/2015 1:05:59 PMThose trailers come from a year before release, simple. If you pre-order anything a year before its been released its moronic. Everyone of those vids has a mention of content subject to change, whether it be in the video or on the page it was originally posted. Legally they could've released a third person shooter with one planet and there's zip you could do about it. You have zero right to complain when you judge a game pre-release. If you did what normal people did before this needing to be first to have something mentality, and watched/read reviews of the final product you would know all this and be able to wage your purchase on actual hard facts and not expectations. You speak as if you know everything about game development and copyright but show a huge lack of knowledge on the subject. Why would I care if you change your mind or not? I don't care if you feel jipped, neither does Bungie, they got your cash on a whim. If people continue to buy products before they're even complete this is only going to get worse. Hell you can pre-order Nintendo's next console on some sites even though it's just a rumour. Consumers have no right to know anything about the development process of a game, if you Pre-order based on videos like this, it is entirely your fault if you're disappointed with the end result.

Ah but didn't you say you would've loved this Destiny too? Seems like you're just trying to deflect flack on it when you were just as disappointed as me and everyone else. Legal yes but doesn't change how absolutely shitty it is and won't help with their future products will it? Like I said Bungie was a company worth trusting but pissed it all away and you're drinking the piss with a smile on your face and saying 'wow what great lemonade!'
listen things changed cause of $$$$ not to make the game better not cause they didn't have enough time. Cause of $$$$ and if you're willing to defend them behind 'ah it's legal' then I hope you grow your arms back soon dreg
Not sure how me wanting Destiny to be what it originally was planned to be affect my argument. I accepted that it changed, doesn't mean I'm not disappointed. You're just spouting nonsense speculation now so I'll bow out. That spoiler comment just makes you seem incredibly dumb after what I thought was a decent debate.

*sigh* yep speculation. I'm sure the Terminus, The Reef, other planets, other patrol areas, that S in raids, Omnigul, Rasputin's Vault, TDB story missions, Kings Watch, 'rich cinematic story-telling' and who knows how much more was cut for the good of the game or blocked off with a $20 door and if it wasn't then no worries! It was all legal anyway! I see your point of view. I stand by my view that it's extremely shitty and shameful and deserves to be called out to all hell.
