Support girl gamers?
Ok guys so of course yes I'm a guy but honestly I've been seeing a lot of girl gamers being hit on in destiny and treated like non human beings at times heck I've read an article about a girl getting kicked just because she's a girl. How does that make any sense? Girls can play just like us guys can in my opinion gender in this game does not matter I play with both genders and I still get my job done in things such as nightfall or raids. (I still need to do vog on hard -_-) but still guys I respect girl gammers I love seeing them kick butt I believe it's their turn to shine. We men have been in the spotlight for so long other video games are usually just men as the main character. Rarely is the female the main character. And guys who play as girls you guys wanted to play as a girl. Who knows maybe there's a girl who's curious about playing the opposite gender as her. If you read this article do you support girl gamers?

I've been bullied half my life and I came here because I wanted bullying to stop so I started with something I saw that I didn't like or wanted to be allowed women face obstacles men don't but males put them in a woman's way. I have been in the horrible life and destiny is one of the few things that cheer me up I barely have friends in real life do you get bullied? Or are you the bully. And how do you know if my girlfriend is ugly or a slut are you a stalker looking at her because you can't find love? Good day and goodbye assholes that treated me like shit and those who actually cared about my forum and took time to hear my words thank you hope you guys have wonderful lives ahead of you. Those who treated me like bug that needed to be crushed go get a job because I'm sick of bullying it must end but I'm not stopping you. You can stop yourself or none of this would happen if you left me alone or you csn continue being the sad child you are and pick on me.

I like that more girls are starting to play. It certainly beats a bunch of 10 year olds screaming profanity into the mic. For me deciding who I play with is most based on character of person and skill. But if a person is nice I usually don't mind helping out on upper lvl content for a few hours when it should only take about 30 min. As for girl gamers, I don't like seeing them be treated differently just because they are girls. If they're nice and are good at the game then I don't see a problem.

Girl gamers are just gamers like everyone else. Just because they are female makes no difference at all. Only the squeakers who are just hitting puberty or sexist assholes are the ones who make such a big deal about female gamers. My clan makes no difference between male and fem,ale gamers, and females hold officer and ranking positions in my clan.

Eh I don't support girl gamers. I support gamers in general because it -shouldn't- be divided by gender like posts of this nature make it. Both genders play, both genders talk smack, both bully, both troll. It's no different. How come so many people who write these posts will defend a girl easily even If she can take what is dishes out... But not help a guy who is being verbally abused. Should just treat everyone like what they are. People.

Seeing these posts pop up on the forums and full of shit about poor girls in gaming, you preach equality but just like the feminazi movement these days you don't want equality. As you said "it's time to let them shine" that's not equality that's letting someone else take over. I don't care what the person behind the character is, if you are a girl good for you but just as I won't treat them bad for it I won't give them special treatment either.

What people don't realize is that most people (even people my age) have yet to even touch a girl. So when they hear a girls voice they lose their minds and try to immediately try to get with a girl just because it's a girl and they have no idea how to handle it. Either that or they copy their parents yelling at each other so they act abusive towards them. So ladies, please just sit back and laugh at those kids. Just play the game and enjoy yourself.

A girl I play with was confused that I wasn't freaked out and falling over when I first played with her. She says guys are always falling over their dicks hitting on her or angry and abusive. Really confuses me that so many Destiny people haven't realized that girls are just people and not mythical creatures from another realm.

The reason people think girls don't play video games is because of how people see people who play video games and how girls compare to men. Most people think men are tougher and can handle FPSs, and most people who play video games are seen as "nerds" or "geeks" and nerds and geeks are seen as smart, and people think men are smarter than women. Out of all my smart friends/people-I-can-talk-to 4/7 of them are girls. As I said at the beginning, I have no disrespect towards girl gamers or girls in general and I hope the rest of society realise this.

Keep in mind the forums here are full of jerks who are going to troll to get a rise out if you. I can guarantee that these folks making their clever, snarky, sexist comments don't generally make them to actual women face to face, and/or would be quite upset if someone made those same comments to important females in their lives. The best way to combat those folks is to not play with them and promote decency whole gaming. I wish I had done that the other night. I joined a crota hard check point because I need it, and the chat was toxic. We never competed it because they were under equipped and not very great players that night. I should have left as soon as they started up, but I let my greed get the better of me.. Sure this is the internet, but it's a reflection upon it's users... That's life. So I choose from here on out to be a positive group member and to not put up with players who are being jerks. I can always leave.
