I killed him.
Arc burn Skolas was the hardest boss I have ever taken down in Destiny. This was truly a feat of strength.
I want to see who else killed Skolas with the arc burn.

Edit: How often does elder cipher drop i didn't get one?
Edit: For those that wanted to know my team had 1 character of each class all lvl 34.
1 fatebringer (365)
2 fangs (331)
3 patience and time only one at 365
Heavy any that did decent arc damage
I used a 365 valedictorian (not bad)
We worked from the left side WoL
Then continually cycled until Skolas was dead.
Killing adds was a vital part of our survival don't ignore them.
Take away is health the hole time and he goes down took like 15 minutes.

1 답변1 hour and 15 minutes. Balanced team: I was hunter + 1 lock + 1 titan. 3 P&T, fully maxed 3 arc MGs for backup Arc Scholar (so good) + 2 Fangs Step 1: Go left, kill servitor, hit Skolas with some P&T shots BEFORE putting up bubble (wait around 5 seconds cuz those 5 seconds make a big difference down the road). Step 2: Keep landing crits, break Skolas bond. Keep hitting crits until mines + poison pop up. Step 3: If you're lucky, mines will spawn left then middle then right. You all stay there until Skolas goes down (about 15-20 seconds into mine countdown depending on how many crits you landed). Step 4: If you were unlucky and got either middle or right mine to spawn first, it's likely a wipe UNLESS you can coordinate to have the guy going for the mine to not have the poison, preferably be a hunter blade for fast movement across the map and invis, and the other 2 guys can take care of Skolas in the meantime. Step 5: Warlocks+Titans combo can take care of Skolas if fighting 2v1. If you were smart, you would have spawned orbs in the last fight (servitor round 5) and so maybe you could have 2 bubbles 2 self rez which makes it super ez. Warlocks can self rez so they can take a lot of hits to save the titan and still pop some orbs so he can hopefully put another bubble up. Hunters are absolutely useless in the last fight aside from rushing for mine on right in which case they're the best at the job. Step 6: DONT FORGET TO DISMANTLE MINES AFTER BEATING SKOLAS. It takes around 10-12 seconds to get to the mine on the right side, less than that for a blade hunter with super. It takes around 4-6 seconds to get to the mine in the middle depending on your specs but I doubt you'd want to sacrifice armor for agility here. Tips: Thunderlord is not worth it because there's not enough burst damage. Each crit deals around 1k or so compared to P&T or arc snipers with high impact that deal 8-10k per shot. You want to be sniping here. You could go thunder + arc sniper though, but that sniper should have field scout at least. P&T is probably the best weapon for this one, if you can land at least 70% crits per shot you'll kill him in no time. Thunder or arc MG is for that time when Skolas rushes you inside the left area, you might as well switch to something for CQC.

Once you get the strat down it's not too bad. First run took about 3 hours and the second run took about 40 minutes. Persistence and communication are key! (sniper headshots are pretty important too :)) https://youtu.be/V7k-BwVcNFg
