Got kicked because I'm a girl?!
Last night I was teaming up with 2 guys from the forum and as they invited me to the party and realized I was a girl one of the guys said "Wait... abort abort. JIM! Don't start PoE. We got a girl, damn it!"
Aaaaaaaand I was kicked.
Seriously?! That's just plain rude...
Edit: I think the problem with girls is that others think we are total noobs. Well let me tell you something, we are not. There are the "stereotype" girls that just never played and of course are bad at playing when you give them a controller. So will be every guy for the first time playing. But then there are the "gamer" girls that know very well how to hold themselves.
Edit2: It's absolutely crazy to see how many people on here are calling me nasty names or have a horrible opinion on gamer girls. Wow. The community is great! *note the sarcasm please*

I don't give to cents about someone's gender or whatnot, if you can hold your own then you can tag along if not then we'll just take it easy... the only thing I don't tolerate is people taking their sweet, sweet time to do something while we are in the middle of something we can't stop. (I.E. constantly leaving the controler in a battle against Atheon, specially if you are the last one alive that can open the portals) But yeah this is something quite troublesome in the online community: people run their mouths before actually thinking.

My favorite is "I got kicked because I sexually identify as a helicopter" by AttackHelicopter. That is all.

1 답변Sorry you experienced this. You must bear in mind that a huge amount of the guys insulting girls are still children and are intimidated by the opposite sex. Unfortunately you do need thick skin when playing destiny or posting on forums as these children are just toxic. If you are xb1 Message me and I'll game with you.

I feel sorry for the future or current female or male partners of those 2 guys that denied themselves the opportunity to tag along with You. They really where dumb, many players like Me have been struggling to find friends or players to do PoE or ToO, and they had the opportunity and throwed it away. Please don't let those stupid guys to ruin Your perception of the majority of Us male players.

1 답변Hope you reported them. There are always jerks, but that is worse than most stories I've heard. IMO you are right to post about this. Gender discrimination should not be accepted and people should be made aware of it in the community.
