You nerfed my Suros and now you want to nerf my Thorn
To the group that wants nerfs.
STFU!! Honestly, if you ask for a nerf go play a different game. It's obvious that you suck at life.

2 답변After a few months of heavy crucible play I can say that Thorn seems to be far as away the most powerful hand cannon on Xbox. The precision+poison idea is a good compromise, but after dozens and dozens of crucible matches, I'm coming around to the idea that a tweak, however minor, would be healthy.

Suros is still king of auto rifles, auto rifles in general were nerfed. Hand cannons aren't OP, the exotics all have too much 2 shot kill potential. Thorn is always a 2 shot kill and this is am abuse. Personally, I don't care. I have my lovely messenger

Destiny is filled to the brim with weapon imbalances, and it's not just Thorn. Thorn is a two-shot to the head with a higher rate of fire and a great Stability stat as well as good Range. The Last Word has the potential to kill faster than ANY Machine Gun; and it also has very high Stability. Red Death has the potential to two-burst someone. These biased posts are so funny. It's sad that you use the overpowered weapons and you claim that you're good at Crucible. "Oh, look at me! I can get a high K/D with a Primary that can two-shot!" Yeah, that's great. Tell that to the people who go on mass killing sprees with No Land Beyond and Necrochasm.

2 답변Lower the impact and slightly increase the fire rate. This way the poison remains relevant and you need 3 headshots for a kill. And the range can be adjusted. Yea i have one. I wrecked with it when people said it was trash. Now they made it rediculous and i only use it if my crucible team starts losing.

1 답변Should just remove crucible and make the rest of the game how it's supposed to be. That way we won't have nerf posts but rather "buff the AI" "make this stronger" "hey! Look at this secret thing I found" posts

3 답변I seriously doubt Bungie bases their Nerf/buff choices on form posts. It is based on stats. The more people use the thorn over other weapons the more data points to a Nerf. That is what happened to auto rifles. My guess is that hand cannons in general will get a nerf to range and accuracy. Thorn will be singled out because of how much it's used in PVP just like Suros.

Thorn has always been this way. I have used it since it was a 6 shot, not 9. People complain now because of the auto nerf. They should have just nerfed suros slightly and left autos alone (kind of like what they did to vex). That way the suros is still strong, and all the exotics are OP in crucible as they should be. As long as there is a variety of OP exotic guns, crucible is good. But when you nerf everything else down, it sucks. And this coming from a loyal thorn user.

There was variety before the first nerf patch came out. Then you started forcing us to use specific weapons due to outperforming the ones we originally used. IMO the first nerf patch should have buffed the other weapon types people rarely used to encourage variety, not handicapping guns and forcing us to use weapons that received minor buffs

I find it odd that all auto rifles were nerfed due to one supposedly OP gun. If anything, Bungie should have nerfed just the SUROS. This would allow auto rifles to still compete with hand cannons and pulse rifles. As it stands now, using an auto rifle in PvP is suicide. I once rolled with For The People, and now it's virtually useless. Until autos are made useful again, I'll be running Hawkmoon.
