The Felwinter's Sniper Solution
As we all know, Felwinter’s Lie is a monster in PvP, and everyone who does not own one is complaining about how OP it is, and those who DO own it are insisting that it isn’t, and that they should shut-up.
Well… facts are it has the highest Impact in the game, a silly amount for range… just. Maths. Shotguns fire 12 pellets. Most shotguns requires 9 pellets to hit to get a kill. Felwinter fires the same but requires only 8 pellets to kill.
Many want to nerf damage, range, anything without actually looking at the weapon. They know the weapon hits hard at range, but nerfing damage or range would be, well frankly, boring.
I propose we reduce the number of Pellets fired by the Felwinter’s Lie from its original 12 to 11. Just one Pellet. That’s it. That’s all that’s required.

I dont advocate changing the guns any further at this early, early point in Destiny's lifespan, however... If I logged in tomorrow and felwinters was exotic and universal remote was legendary, I'd almost be like "fair enough".

1 답변As someone who has and uses a hammer forged /shot package FL, I think it does need some work. Maybe not a straight up nerf, but something needs changed. Like reducing range or impact and buffing rof or something. Either way, I get ohk's at distances that are flat out unfair imo.

7 답변I use it. it is OP. nerfing The number of pellets wont make any difference. The only way To nerf it is To remove The shot package perk from it, as it is the one perk that makes The entire combo Impact/range OP.

22 답변Lol whats funny is that all you idiots complaining about felwinters are unaware of the next big thing. The trials of osiris shotgun is going to come with more range hammer forged and shot package. Prepare to get more analy -blam!- by it.

14 답변If you miss the shot your dead period. It's not op bc of the rof, just learn how to put maneuver, yes I have it, no I don't use it often bc I know how to defend against it point blank. They shoot at me and miss they have no chance in hell! Lol

4 답변Well i used to use the gun a lot, but i rarely use it now due to how bungie nerfed secondary ammo. Another thing is, the whole range and impact thing is what makes felwinters lie different, its what makes it worth the iron banner grind, plus the really low rate of fire makes it a hit-or-miss type of gun sometimes.

5 답변After HoW comes out you can buy any one of the factions shotguns and reroll into a gun that may even be better than the felwinters, personall i cant wIt to have my perfect two to the morgue back

The judgement VI is really good. I usually use it over my Felwinter's. Plus when HoW comes out people can buy the judgement VI and reroll it to hammer forged and shot package, which is as good as the Felwinter's lie with the same perks

1 답변Why doesn't bungie just run a constant game mode where there is no secondaries or heavy? That'd fix a lot of crying then we could all jump around thorning each other from range and nobody would complain until they used assault rifles.
