How did you start Swordbearing?
I have my hunter ready to go and I'm confident in myself that I can do it.
I've managed to get a few hits in solo, heck, I'd be able to solo the raid as a whole if it wasn't for Crota.
But NO-ONE cares about a novice Swordbearer.
How did you start?
How can I start?
I know HOW to Swordbear, I just feel like I'd cock it up majorly.
Edit: Just thought I'd add, I'm on XB1 and my GT is CCXGT.
I'm usually on after 12pm GMT if anyone's interested.
Edit 2: So I've met this amazing guy, 'JagerMorder91' who is willing to teach me and be patient with me.
We ran through CE Normal 3 times yesterday, each time him being the Swordbearer, he then took me to the Sword of Crota mission and taught me the basics.
We're gonna take a shot at it later on today and hopefully I won't cock it up too badly!

3 답변작성자: Zow 5/12/2015 9:40:14 AMI did the normal raid with a friend and 4 strangers. We got to Crota and he was like, "Anyone NOT been swordbearer before?" I was like, "Me." He was like, "Go for it Zow! You can do it!" So I did and I am now a bonafide swordbearer. True story.

just go on Destinylfg.com and find a group running crota normal that is requesting a sword bearer. Practice the jumps from both sides of the stage, where you're going to crouch on the rocks etc unless you plan on using vanish before you grab the sword. Be very confident in those jumps. Nothing makes a group cringe more than a sword bearer saying take him down and then they miss the jump up to the stage and everyone just wasted a rocket. Do the sword of crota mission on level 30 if you want to practice the 3 or 4 slams, drop the sword and blink strike method to get a rhythm for it. The 3 Knights in that mission can take some punishment and there's no pressure at all. I started the day my hunter hit 32 and had it cold after 5 or so completions that day, just lurking on lfg and volunteering any time a group was looking for a sword. DIdnt tell anyone it was my first time, just did it. Have now done it on all 3 classes, and found a lot of little tricks and things out on my own that just come with experience, timing being the biggest one of all. The whole thing is essentially having good/great/perfect timing as pulling the trigger to swing the sword doesn't require a ton of skill.

First attempt on normal I asked and my first shot on hard I was given the task lol breezed through with no issues. If you're on PS4 I'll help you one day, or I suggest posting on forums saying you'll run sword then just go for it and not mention you haven't done it.

I've only tried it a couple of times,nobody on the team had ran sword so i offered,not managed to kill crota yet,I didn't do to badly,got some good hits but my timing was off so I got killed a few times,an experienced swordbearer joined so I let him take over

작성자: jmacELITE2305 5/12/2015 8:30:50 AMI started as a 32 titan on normal, I told the whole group id done it before even though I hadn't (but id watched lots of videos) and I got him first try, the key is to be confident, as a a titan or warlock jump up when rockets are [b]about[/b] to hit Crota. As a hunter you jump up invisible and swing first when the rockets hit. It's not that hard

2 ways. 1. Check some video's of swordbearing. Join a group, and say u will be the swordbearer. And just practice. 2. Join a kind group or ask for one that Let you be the swordbearer. And ask for tips and the ins and outs from an experienced swordbearer. Last one is the best i think because if you do make a stupid mistake they while be patience and understanding.

Seen people run it on Twitch and learned the method. Ran it with friends so I didn't have randoms getting pissed if I messed up. Most people I've run Crota with seem afraid to do sword. Usually if you speak up and say you want to do it, they'll let you.
