How did you start Swordbearing?
I have my hunter ready to go and I'm confident in myself that I can do it.
I've managed to get a few hits in solo, heck, I'd be able to solo the raid as a whole if it wasn't for Crota.
But NO-ONE cares about a novice Swordbearer.
How did you start?
How can I start?
I know HOW to Swordbear, I just feel like I'd cock it up majorly.
Edit: Just thought I'd add, I'm on XB1 and my GT is CCXGT.
I'm usually on after 12pm GMT if anyone's interested.
Edit 2: So I've met this amazing guy, 'JagerMorder91' who is willing to teach me and be patient with me.
We ran through CE Normal 3 times yesterday, each time him being the Swordbearer, he then took me to the Sword of Crota mission and taught me the basics.
We're gonna take a shot at it later on today and hopefully I won't cock it up too badly!

However I am practicing now as I have crota CP and soloing it anyway so I go out there and work on combos and timing

Using the sword is the easy part the hardest part to get down is escaping from crota without getting yourself killed. As I'm sure everyone else has told you practice practice practice. After about a couple weeks of practicing on normal I completed my first hard crota as sword bearer just recently,it's quite the rush that's for sure heart beating and all that fun shit that goes with it. good luck to you.

If you need help and I an online, let me know. One of my favorite things in the game is helping people accomplish something for the first time. My son ran sword for the 1st time last night. Only took 2 tries with a full fire team. Just go for 3 hits each sword, no reason do get more on normal.

The first time I ran sword, I just told people I'd done it before. I watched enough videos and seen enough people do it that I was sure I could. Took 2 wipes but I did it. I've been swordbearer ever since on all 3 classes.

I was running Crota awhile back with a majority of the group that has never done the raid before. We got to Crota but we needed a swordbearer. Went on the forums and wemt through two people because "they can't even" when a group of new people couldn't kill Crota in 2 swords. The third SB that came in I explained "Hey look, 3 of the 4 people I'm with have never done this before so please have patience if we don't get Crota in a few tries." His reply was "Oh yea, that's not a problem. I know how it is being new to this." Needless to say, 3 attempts later, he rage quits cussing. After that I took up the mantle and after 5 or 6 learning attempts with me and instucting the new raiders, we killed Crota on the 7th. Haven't run sword since but I thought this was a fairly decent story to share.

2 답변I was doing Crota hard and no one could Run sword and we had six and didn't want to kick anyone out, so I pretended to know what I was doing. From that day I am A Titan Sword Bearer.

My tips; equip a weapon that gives you added agility, I use a shotgun, First sword -R1,R1,R2,R2, blink strike, R1,R1,R2 get out(if you go for a 2nd R2 there you might die); If you have him to the coma, second sword is 3-R2's, blink, 3-R2's (if not to the coma you can make it up on last sword), get out, last sword all R2's 2 then 3 or vice versa. dead, you can go with supers but I like you don't like to waste others time knocking him off. Good luck. Always want to start hitting him before he takes the knee, that's how you get four or more hits in

작성자: Cleat 5/13/2015 11:28:25 PMStarted doing it from the beginning. But my clan decided everyone should learn to do it. Makes 3 runs in a row a breeze now. Just practice at it, and work with ppl who are patient and offer constructive criticism. Its intimating at first but its also fun. BTW, I decided to solo CE a while back. Once you kill crota solo, honestly you will be prepared for anything that goes wrong in the future. I'm not saying that's a requirement, but from my experience, I can deal with anything crota has to offer now. Edit: thought I'd drop this video here. Granted this was my first solo. And I messed up a few times, including an embarrassing slip on the rocks. But it goes to show that yoi don't need to be perfect as long as you're comfortable with every scenario. Hope this helps! I do the majority of those tasks for my group (not that they aren't capable themselves, very lucky to play with so many good players.) I would think it would be very hard to start sword bearing now, it's been out awhile. If you're going to do it then people are going to expect you to know what you're doing by now. I commend you for trying to get into it, it's a lot of fun and a nice feather to have.
