Dear dummy with a Gjallarhorn in weekly heroic matchmaking....
I'm playing at a higher difficulty level than my gear also. This is my alt, don't play it very much. Trying to level up some armor, you know? I don't know if you are too, but it looks like this might be your first time here.
No, hey, sorry to offend, but the weekly is Void burn. VOID. BURN.
A freaking Rare Void heavy would be doing more damage to the Archon Priest than your Solar penis stand-in. Believe it or not, Gjallarhorn isn't the perfect weapon for every situation. Try to bring the right weapons to the party, huh?

1 답변Rare weapons can't hit 300 atk power. Nightfall is level 30. Sub 300 damage weapons are at a damage nerf vs. level 30 enemies. 3x damage for an elemental burn on a disadvantaged weapon is still a disadvantaged weapon.

Lots of people accuse the OP of jumping to conclusions. Then they go on to regurgitate "gjallarhorn is still better than otha rockets durr!". Where in the OP did he state that the others should've used ROCKET LAUNCHERS other than the gjally? I can't find it. Only heavy weapons. And guess what? Machine guns like the Corrective Measure are also heavy weapons. Bring that to the table and the gjally becoms little more than dust.

You should be happy to see a random shooting a rocket launcher at all, most of the time randoms shoot at walls and throw grenades at shanks on my games. Shooting a Ghorn with no burn is still better than most any other attacks so you should lighten up and let people play how they want.

2 답변As other players have stated it has been confirmed that even with truth on void burn, Gjallarhorn still does more damage so your whole statement is irrelevant. Not to mention you do not have a Gjallarhorn, I always find it funny how it's always players who don't have it that make posts like this bashing it and hating on players for always using it. It's OP for a reason get over it..

4 답변My maxed truth wasn't hitting as hard as gjally with the void burn. It's sad Truth should be buffed add clusters or split each round in two that hits for two rockets worth of damage.

I'm afraid you're wrong. Even with void burn, gjallarhorn still does more damage than any void rocket launcher. Hard to believe, I know, but it's true. Besides, it's only the weekly. Let people use whatever the -blam!- they want. Get picky during the nightfall.

Also i would be annoyed if you were using your underleveled gear during the whole weekly. Just switch to it right at the end. I like to get this shit done quick!

5 답변Don't think you were one in my weekly. I don't have horn, but in either case, I read what the burn was and used the appropriate stuff. Ran out of sniper ammo, so I did use Icebreaker while the synth was cooling down. Not ideal, but it still works some bit. On my warlock doing the level 30 I had a 27 and 28. They tried to help but couldn't do much. Didn't really bother me, played as if I was solo and we completed it. Not sure why some people get bent out of shape. They complain because it is not soloable now, but then complain when people don't help. If they don't help, or can't do much, it is basically like soloing.
