Why is it that almost every strike I am in I am the only one dropping light? I will go in with Obsidian Mind and 96% Intellect on my Voidwalker and throw down nova bombs left and right. If I drop less than fifty orbs of light a match I am doing something wrong. How is it that no one else seems to ever use theirs? There is plenty of light on the ground that I drop so you can burn yours and immediately be full again. Also, you help me out by dropping light for me. Mind you that my helm makes it so that I am usually half full for my next nova bomb each time I kill a group of enemies with a nova bomb, but sometimes I need an extra orb or two.
It absolutely baffles me why people other than Sunsingers in a nightfall mission horde supers. I remember I used to do that. Keep it in my back pocket as a last ditch effort trump card move when I was new to the game. But I quickly learned that they are meant to be used and used often. There should be no reason a mid-twenties or higher level guardian doesn't know this. So why the hesitation to use your supers to help the team?
While I'm at it, I often see people not using their heavy weapons or not using them often. I carry a dozen or more synths with me each match and time it so that I am always full and when a group of enemies come I am ready with either a super or a full clip of heavy ammo. Could you also explain why you never use your heavy weapons?
-Edit- Apparently there are a lot of people who play like I do, which I didn't expect when I made this poll so sorry that the options are limited to mostly "I don't do it" kind of options. Thankfully I left "other" in there as a catch-all. Thanks for all the responses. I never expected so many people to respond with so many different explanations gameplay styles. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to play the game but I am hoping to point out how efficient this type of gameplay is and I was legitimately asking why people didn't play like this when orbs of light and heavy synth are easily renewed.
I also see that many people aren't intentionally trying not to be team players as they support in other ways, they don't care for supers or they simply didn't know or forgot. Also thanks to those who took time to explain their loadouts and perks that come with them. There is some really valuable information in these posts so I am glad we are helping the community together.

Because using my jigglyhammer every five seconds would break your heart and the experience. I carry 200 heavy synths at all times on all 3 characters. I titan smash way too much which again would be cheap. But when I do it's because Eris told me to. The fun of the game left in January.

Im very startegic and only use supers if the situation calls for it. I will do most of my kills with my weapon, I love my multitool and fang, so I use them often. I use nova bombs when there are ALOT of enemies not just like 5 or 6, but a lot. With my titan I use the space combination often because its just more fun than nova bomb in my opinion. Plus I can take a crap load of damage and pick off the stragglers with my sword breaker. With my hunter I use gunslinger on enemies like majors to spawn more orbs, or to shoot through a crowd. So I olay differently with each character, and use my supers only during certain situations. Sometimes I just have no need for a super, sometimes I will.

2 답변Im not really a selfish player and generally do use my super and heavy quite often. But everyone must be able to find their own light and fight their own fight in any strike, mission or raid.

I wish I could find other players that think this way too. I usually go through at least 2 heavy synth in roc strikes alone just because I can. It's so much more fun when people know how to use their supers as a team.

13 답변작성자: Mewing_Raven 5/12/2015 12:00:14 PMAs far as the Heavy Synths, I play on PS3. Opening my menu in combat can take upwards of 15 seconds for everything to load. If I'm pugging, which I often do, I'm not going to stop and hold up everyone while I take the better part of a minute getting some heavy ammo. This will likely change whenever I can afford a ps4.
