A handful of people in the Destiny community think Xur is ruining the game. He is bringing exotics that shouldn't be sold and should be a grind for. Should he go or should he stay???
Edit 1: "Alot of people in the Destiny community" ( It never said I) .
Edit 2: Everyone wants him to stay!!! Xur is not going anywhere!!!
Some people in the post suggested that he sell legendary items instead.
I changed "Alot of people" because i was over exaggerating! :D
Edit 3: A few people are rethinking xur about what he does and sells.
Should RNG be removed?

Personally if the rng system worked and didnt favour the weakest player....which it does......then there wouldnt be a need for xur. But because the rng is like that then xur is the only way some people can get certain exotics...me included. Keep him I say or fix the rng.

Keep him for the armour get rid of the weoponry You can only earn exotic armour from engrams and nightfalls and xur So armour 2 ways of getting it (except xur) And with weapons (except xur and exotic bounties) Engram Raids Nightfalls ROC strikes Crucible (plus IB) POE(when its realeses) ToO (probably)

I personally believe that he shouldn't have been in the game to begin with. When the game was drastically changed(I don't ink one can deny that it WAS changed at one point in time) exotics were things that would come from bounties and difficult tasks. All exotics should have been like this. Xur's economy makes them just too easy to obtain, though I see his benefits. One could reobtain guns they lost(like my thunderlord, thank god), but it can be very easy to obtain mass amounts of weapons mans armor from things you can obtain easily with 3 characters. Hell, even just 2 characters.

Only special snow flakes want him gone. Me? I hope he sells every exotic at one time. The more weapons on the streets makes raids and the such easier. A new poll you should make is how many special snow flakes want xur gone but also whine on the LFG pages saying they only will take people with max ghorn, or max IB, or max whatever else.

Earning drops in raids and strikes is a matter of luck. Ive been playing this game for 5 months now and I miss 4 exotic weapons. I think I only bought 2 or 3 from Xur. Many ppl complain about not looting some weapons (Gally, Vex,...) since day 1. Buying stuff from Xur is also about the same luck (Xur selling what you need) and a bit about coin grinding (when you're a young guardian). So please dont complain about Xur. Imo it's mostly about luck. And when you have bad luck, Xur is just a small part of your problem. It's just a game. Just play it, enjoy it, and be happy when you get lucky!

This childish argument is getting real old. If you want to ignore Xur, go ahead, but stop worrying about how other people got their stuff as it has no bearing on your individual gameplay whatsoever. So what if people buy exotics from Xur? It's not like someone buying one means there is one less out there to drop for you. It's like a kid in the playground crying because another kid has a shinier toy.

Even though I have almost every weapon and armor xur might sell that I'd want (warlock armor not included because I don't have one), i still think its fair for newer players to be able to take advantage of xur too. I mean i would've been pissed if i started playing after xur and had to get exotics entirely through RNG

Holy FCUK! For gods sake Thunderlord is not a gun that "shouldnt be sold". I honestly have received around 7 so far from randoms drops. Its gotten to a point Id rather get jack shit than a Thunderlord. Who cares if he sells it? I bet 90% of the playerbase already has it.

3 답변I remember crying back when he sold plan c for the first time, because I was the only one in my group of friends that had it. ever since that I realized that xur doesn't really matter. You need to understand a few concepts. 1) NOTHING, and I mean absolutely NOTHING in this game is "difficult" to get 2) there is no sense of "I'm a special snowflake" so if that's what you really want than go play another game

2 답변A lot of people in the Destiny community also feel entitled to only have the guns for themselves. I believe the term is "jackass", defined as "a greedy jerk".

I love the idea of the new weapon and armor every weekend, it's a cool and mysterious endeavor that keeps everyone guessing until he arrives. I think Xur should stay the way he is, he makes it so the cursed can get what they deserve and the ones who do the weekly have a purpose other than rep.
