Someone from Bungie, please explain to me why i still didn't get all the exotics? (in my case a *******, which is being dropped A LOT!).
If the loot is RANDOM, why always the same people are getting it? Does RANDOM mean that players like me will NEVER get specific weapons? After playing for 50 days, it seems so. Fix that, please!!!
Is it that difficult to program the loot system to skip people which already got a specific loot 3x, so other people in the Fireteam will make a chance to get it?
I play games for more then 30 years now and have NEVER felt deceived like with Destiny. Untill now, my every game i achieved what i wanted. Unfortunally this is not the case in this game. A waste of 50 days of my life. At first they make me addicted to this game and then they **** me.
If i didn't get all the exotic weapons after playing Destiny for 50 days.....then A LOT of players will NEVER get them. Is this the motivation for them to play Destiny further?

5 답변작성자: JBO 5/6/2015 2:36:33 PMIt's not totally an RNG system. It has certain elements that adjust odds in order to keep you chasing something. One of those things is something I don't have proof of but the mountains of evidence from everyone I've ever played with makes me confident it's most certainly true. The trick is once you have had a certain exotic drop your chances of getting that same exotic again go up quite a good amount. This means the more exotics you drop the less likely you are to get the remaining ones. This makes perfect sense as it drags out your chase for the exotic weapons. Unfortunately this means if Gjallerhorns is one of the last 2 or 3 exotics you don't have its odds of dropping get very low. However, I was in this same situation with Hawkmoon and it finally dropped for me last week. So it certainly can and will still drop. You just have to keep running alll your exotic chances every week.

RNG is in practically every game... Destiny's RNG is quite forgiving compared to other games out there, such as Crota's End loot table checking to see whether you got a specific item yet or not and changing your odds from there. I don't see how Bungie's RNG fails in comparison.

Completely reasonable request as that happens to myself and A LOT of other people all the time. I guess what I'm saying here is.... "THIS"

I fill you, I have 3 32's, I do every checkpoint on every raid, every difficult, I get every chest and I do all my weekly and daily stuff, I max my marks every week, and I do this on all three characters every week, and I never get anything, I have 3 other friends they have only one character and they do Crota on hard and that's it, yet they all get gallies almost every week, yet I devote my life to this game for no pay out besides frustration. I understand how rng is supposed to help the game last longer but it doesn't guarantee reward players that dedicate all there time to it.

3 답변작성자: GalaxySpider 5/13/2015 4:03:06 PMI'm wondering about this myself. One guy in my clan alread got Thunderlord like 4 or 5 times or so but never got Hawkmoon. As for me I already received Hawkmoon 4 times now (still have my 300 ATK Hawkmoon)....but never got a Gjallarhorn since Launch, lol. Also, till the point where Xur sold Hard Light a few weeks ago, I also never received that gun via drops. But of coooooourse, after buying it I got it from the next weeks NF 2 times... Of course, it's sooooo random. NOT. It's just a theory but I believe that every player who is a registered Destiny user (with unique ID) receives some kind of a loot table, when he first logs in into the game, which tells the game of which exotic should drop more often for you and which not. It could be a decision made for not having everyone running around with the most powerful guns just a few weeks after launch/short period of time. To keep a certain balance and to compensate the games low end game content/activities, giving you THAT one reason to play it instead of dropping the game. There aren't that much exotics in the game and by now every Launch player should have all exotics. But yeah, that's obviously not the case.

1 답변작성자: Lewie730 5/13/2015 3:14:59 PMOnce someone gets a gjallarhorn, they keep getting it. Loot system is broken, I agree. They need to have a weighted system that gradually makes a missing exotic more likely to drop. That way one would eventually get said weapon. It's broken in many ways, why do I see the no land beyond drop at the death singer more than any other exotic? It's weighted some how. I think it would be cool if one day a year they had all of the exotics for sale by. Xur, but you could only make one purchase. It would give people a chance to get their coveted exotic. RNG is a bitch, and I don't believe for one minute that it's pure RNG, that's why they need to fix it.

Not that I don't feel for you, but this has been hashed out for months now. Gjallahorn is a good weapon, but you really don't need it to be a good gaurdian. RNG is functioning as intended here. It's terrible, good luck mate.

3 답변You don't understand the concept of random do you? At any point you have the exact same chance of getting any weapons from the same drop point. In theory a person may get gally 100 times from say the VoG chest while another person would never see it. There will always be outliers who see an item a lot and ones who never see it. Your chances of getting it never increase.

I think RNG uses the letters in your name as part of the random multiplier. I would try changing your name by one letter or number and see what happens. I have noticed that certain players always get say Hunger of Crota. I have gotten 6, but have yet to get sword breaker after 60 plus Crota completions. Just a thought.

6 답변작성자: Grzzldgamer 5/13/2015 2:26:52 PMOMFG! Are people still clueless that this RNG was developed by a behavioral psychiatrist to keep you hooked? IT IS RIGGED. This RNG is not AS RANDOM as many believe. I think this picture will help you understand the RNG is working EXACTLY as Bungie intended it to. They want & need people to keep playing. The coding looks at you and your items. Then the probability of getting what you want is changed so you wont get it as easily. Deej, for example, already stated that Xur is RNG (for example), and that they look at his inventory the day before he arrives. Then Bungie decides if they like it or not, and changes it. They also remove, or lessen the chances of, many exotics from RNG that they feel will unbalance the game. They see hundreds of posts of people crying out for Ghorn. They know if they lessen the chances of it, they got you. So all the people screaming for an item, gives them the power of knowing what will keep you mindlessly playing.

1 답변RNG working as intended dude. Can't fix what isn't broken. It's a random system. It doesn't remember what you got 5 minutes ago, and what you got yesterday has no effect on what you got today. What other members of your fireteam are rewarded with has no effect on whether or not you get a reward. I roll a 20 sided die 20 times. I have rolled every number but 17. When I roll the die again, this doesn't make it more likely I'll roll a 17. It's actually more likely that I'll roll a number I already got. RNG is the same way. Once you start collecting exotics, you're more likely to get a duplicate than a new one because the game doesn't remember. You're right when you say that it's theoretically possible that you'll never get the weapon/gear you want. But that's RNG. I don't foresee that changing any time soon. The good news is that if you beat PoE, there's supposed to be a guaranteed exotic drop, which is better than anything else the game has offered so far. Hang in there man. You'll get it. Or you won't. RNG, dude!
