To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.

Edit: Damn this post has been bashed on. The hate is real! I'm just putting down my opinion and some facts, get over it. Also, my skill actually has nothing to do with the stats of the thorn, its crazy right?

1 답변Count me in the club: 2+ KD I have Thorn. I use Thorn when other sweaty try hards do. I 100% agree with you. All the exotic hand cannons, vex, the 0.8 sec TTK pulse rifles.... All need to be nerfed.

Thorn isn't as easy to use as people say it is. A 1.7 KD player won't pick it up and magically turn into a 2.0. That being said, something will eventually be done to thorn. I don't want to say OP or broken, just that as of right now there isn't much of a reason to use any other gun right now. The issue is that it's always been this good, all the buff did was improve magazine size/reload speed (I think, this is off memory so that might need a correction). People have just been catching on to it and now it is over used. Not overpowered.

1 답변The damage isnt the problem, its the burn. First of all the burn damage causes crazy recoil. Cant tell you how many times ive put a whole clip in to someones chest after getting hit with thorn and missed every single shot. Second of all, there is nothing more annoying than outshooting someone only to get killes by burn damage a few seconds later

I don't care about crucible but I don't think it's op, my go to gun is red death which is currently very op, so if you want to be good in crucible with little skill use that. (This isn't a dig at anyone, I truly meant all this.)

7 답변Look, I have never involved myself in one of these idiotic posts yet, just because you people that post these threads are whiny little twats. This was the first time around I seriously played Iron Banner, and I had tons of fun. Yes I used thorn some of the time, but for a lot of it, I was using Time on Target, and wrecking people with it. It's not that hard mate, you say you can beat it 80 percent of the time, great! What're you compiling for? Enlighten me, please. Up until this point, you have been spouting gibberish and nonsense.

2 답변If this gun puts the best crucible players down in 2 head shots (which yes it can in skilled hands with someone who can aim at peoples heads and likes using hand cannons), then what does this make you if you outgun it 80% of the time a crucible God? If you are that good in crucible a gun that is only 20% effective does not need a nerf.. And if you say your not even that good at crucible then clearly plenty of people know how to cope with it. Shut up whining and play your own game ffs, I've never used mine online as I enjoy other guns and feel no need to tell Bungie to nerf a gun because I get killed by it, you are suppose to get killed now and again

3 답변Timurs lash is also a 2 headshot kill hand cannon, there are plenty of guns that can outmatch thorn depending on the situation. People only complain because it's popular so they die a lot against it. Red death, mida and tlw can all beat it depending on the map and situation

4 답변You can nerf the hell out of it for pvp for all I care, just leave it alone in PvE. You whiney idiots got Suros and auto rifles in general nerfed to death. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
