To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.
Again, Edit: wow how has this reached 500+ replies? I'm truly honored by all you flaming bastards who just keep flaming. For those who agree with me, thank you :)

Edit: Damn this post has been bashed on. The hate is real! I'm just putting down my opinion and some facts, get over it. Also, my skill actually has nothing to do with the stats of the thorn, its crazy right?

71 답변The cycle of butt-hurt 1. Get owned by a certain gun/tactic/ability in crucible 2. Makes a rage thread about it, insulting people who use the particular gun/tactic/ability, and hoping to find people who share their outrage 3. Starts getting flamed 4. Makes some defensive edits, sometimes they'll claim to be collecting tears (trying to make it look like they're the one with the upper hand) 5. Declares that they don't actually die to the gun/tactic/ability very often and they don't have a problem countering it (which would suggest that the thread is more about how it's overpowered for other people and they're just angry on other players behalf, or raging at the gun/tactic/ability on purely academic grounds). I've been on these forums since Halo 2 and it's amazing how often the above steps play out.

Thorn is not OP. It is a serious killer, but so is Red Death, TLW, Hawkmoon, Midi, and Universal Remote. Each have perks that can dominate certain maps or matchups. Suros was a serious killer also, but the nerf neutered it. Thr real OP tool in PvP is lag.

Then when nothing can compete against snipers, we will go ahead an nerf those. But wait, fusion rifles are one hit kill an plan c kinda snipes, so we can nerf those. Oh but shotguns do too much damage, we need to nerf those. But special ammo shows up too much. No problem, we are removing special ammo from the crucible. But what about heavy? Well nothing can compete against rockets, so let's nerf those. But now nothing can compete against heavy machine guns, we can nerf those. You know what, we're just gonna remove heavy ammo from the crucible. But shit, after all these friggin nerfs, hand cannons like thorn an last word will have become top tier again. See a pattern? Just quit crying, before you destroy crucible one nerf at a time.

2 답변Compared to other hand cannons, Thorn is much harder to get headshots with. The target acquisition (ie auto aim) is weak, and it handles like a cruise ship on a formula one track.

Play a real competitive FPS like the old school rainbow six games where ONE headshot from the weakest gun kills you. I can't play pvp games like destiny because of this. A headshot should be a kill every time once COD 4 changed that concept I lost interest in pvp in shooters. In B4 git gud or some shit

You know what I got a solution, let's get rid of all weapons, melee, grenades, and supers and just have people face each other and only use Harsh Language. I can guarantee people will call for nerfs on talking, walking, and even looking at people.
