If a player is bringing your fireteam down because of their lack of skill, then don't be afraid to remove them from your group or ban them altogether. Although this topic is Destiny specific, this correlates to any online game for the matter. If you're doing a raid, strike, PvP etc and you're in a party with a player so bad he's contributing nothing and dying constantly, then DO NOT be afraid to remove them. For me and many other aspiring competitive gamers, victory is the top priority and casual fun comes second. I want to see more successful fireteams in Crucible, more successful raid teams and less Nightfall failures amongst other things.
EDIT: I know I'm going to get hated on for this but instead of acting like a child, share your opinion in a mature fashion.
Second EDIT: Calling me a bitch, insulting my intelligence or just being a dick towards peoples opinions will not be tolerated. There's a mute button, I will use it.

작성자: LASERMAN4427 7/16/2015 3:28:47 AM5 year olds auto kick. Squeaky. Annoying. And always have backround noise. Their parents come and talk/yell at them and then the kid starts to cry and get all dramatic. and somehow manage to take your entire fire team away from your raid to do nightfall. Wtf

4 답변I don't kick bad players, I kick the ones that don't know what's going on and don't listen to instructions. If you know what you should be doing and just having a tough time it's not a big deal. If I have to say "dude, get on the totem" for 10 minutes then you're getting the boot.

My time of being a truly competitive game had passed in still above average and carry teams but I have gotten to the point that I just like to help people I don't think it's wrong to kick players though. If you're goal is to become a better competitive player than more power to you and I wish you the best. I have been gaming for 25 years now and relaxing and having fun is what I do is not for everyone

작성자: Duhawk1 7/16/2015 3:34:33 AMI have a very small, close knit group of individuals I have played with since the beginning. Not playing with too many strangers certainly alleviates the need to ever have to kick someone. Also, in the rare case that I do play with strangers/new acquaintances, I don't kick them for being bad. See, at this point for me it doesn't really matter if I don't beat an activity. Beat everything in this game so many times, just doing it for fun now. So a bad player is no hindrance to me. At this point it's like, eh whatever!

I only kick a player under three conditions. As long as one condition is met, they get kicked. 1. They are disrespectful to me or to another member of the fire team, or behave in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable. 2. If they are not willing to listen to helpful instructions, and continuously get killed and drag us down, I will debate kicking them, but I won't deal with it for more than 30 minutes. 3. They use thorn AND think they are actually good because of it. Also, if they use thorn in pve it's fine, I just don't approve of it in pvp. Another thing is if a person acts like an elitist prick. That instantly gets you kicked. I refuse to tolerate ANYONE who thinks they are better than anyone else, even if they are correct. Oh, and if you want to express an elitist opinion, you can just go away. Walk off a cliff or something, I don't care either way.

7 답변I'd rather kick someone if they're disrespectful to other fireteam members You'd be surprised how often a negative person brings the whole team down. Maybe that's just me and recent players from lfg sites.

If the person is chill, and easy to get along with then no, i'm not kicking him. If he sucks but also has a shitty, or immature/annoying attitude, then yeah.. He's probably getting kicked. The main thing is honesty, just be truthful about your experience and skill, communicate when you need help etc, no reason for the fireteam not to succeed.
-
For me it comes down to how they are. I'm a pretty good player and I've carried plenty of people with half my skill simply because they're cool people. Idc if you have skills of a god or a chump, if you're easy to get along with then I'm game.

4 답변It's all about attitude. If someone is genuinely trying to play well with a good attitude and just gets overwhelmed or is always in the wrong place at the wrong time, that's fine, it happens. I'll just try to mitigate the damage and have them stay in certain places or try covering their backs. If someone is being a total moron or is being a jerkoff, yeah, kicked. Screwing around is my biggest pet peeve, if you just stand there willfully letting Atheon kill you when he spawns in, screw that. Or if you're jumping around like a jackrabbit during containment bubbles or running and trying to melee the knights in the boomer towers, you're obviously not taking this thing seriously, even for a game. People with bad attitudes usually go next.

7 답변/Prepare for anger vent/ So I was doing the nightfall, and thought "hey, why don't I invite one of the people on my list to get them some loot?" I invite him, and immediately, his bitchy, squeaky voice cuts through my brain as he screams "WHAT DO YOU WANT? YOU WANT ME TO CARRY YOU?" (He's a 32 and like, 10 years old) and I hold off as long as I can. Later, during the "mind if we take their pikes" part, he and my friend die, leaving me as last. He screams "CHANGE TO BLADEDANCER!" Which I don't, opting instead to kill everything and Rez them. Once we get to archon area, he runs down and dies in the worst place possible and screams "GET ME" so I do. Then, once we get him and priest is released, he tries to arc blade the boss, immediately dying, while my friend throws up a bubble and I try and kill the priest (who has a fraction of his health) and accidentally blow myself up, since I was rezzing the kid and when he popped up my rocket hit him and I died. I was pissed but kept it back. He then proceeds to shoot the priest, arc blade, and somehow fall off the cliff and my friends bubble runs out and he dies. Mr squeaker proceeds to yell "I TOLD YOU TO CHANGE TO BLADEDANCER" (which would not have helped in any way shape or form) so I boot him and he unfriends me. /end rant/ If you made it, I applaud you.

작성자: Shag6 4/28/2015 12:40:13 AMFirst kick was this past weekend. We were running CE hard. We were all in a party, and the party screen indicated we all had mics. This kid kept killing the Knights without his super. The second time it happened we paused and announced how orb generating worked at this stage. He killed them again on the third run through. Booted.

Depends on what kind of player the person is If hes bad yet is really trying and i can tell, ill take a deep breath and carry him through it If hes bad and joking around not thinking much of wasting other people's time? Then id be halfway nice about it but end up leaving and finding a new group or kicking him

2 답변작성자: Okidre 4/28/2015 12:01:31 AMI always have a hard time doing this. It ends up making the Crota fight longer than it took to get there from start. But I think, it was an accident or a glitch, things happen. Before you know it, it's been an hour and they're still using the heavy ammo glitch every run.

1 답변I'm much more inclined to kick someone for being an asshole than for poor performance. Some of the most fun I've had in Destiny is with terrible groups who are having fun rather than pro groups who are just jackasses. However, if someone keeps making the same mistake and not learning, I may ask them to leave.

2 답변If it's a raid, sure. If it's a strike or crucible, they wouldn't even be in your fire team to kick.

4 답변I really don't mind the "lack skill" in a video game, I mean " having skill" in a video game it's just stupid in my opinion, what I do mind is the fact that players try to make the experience of either a raid or a strike mission the most annoying thing in the world on purpose.
