PSA: Buy vendor gear now!
Originally I bought Iron Banner gear to level up, but I guess my effort was in vain because I don't like the perks on the armor. Auto Rifle Reloader sounded good... until Bungie nerfed ARs to oblivion. IB armor offers VERY little choice. There's no point in IB anymore since [u]all vendor armor will be upgradable now.[/u]
Starting May 19th, there will be [b]NEW vendor gear... which will replace the old gear and might NOT have the combination of stats and perks that you want.[/b] [u]Consider grinding NOW, before the current gear leaves.[/u]
Consider the weapons too:
For The People is an AR that can reach 100 stability.
Secret Handshake is the fastest firing shotgun with an optimal perk roll.
Plug One.1 has epic stability with perfect balance (though a dropped version with Accelerated Coils is ideal).
The Trolley Problem is a high power FR with Accelerated Coils.
LDR 5001 has the 2nd highest stability of non-raid/exotic snipers, and a good perk roll.
MG18A Harm's Way is ALMOST an ideal LMG... but lacks field scout.
Against all Odds is an excellent LMG... if you don't mind the abysmal stability (slow fire rate helps).
One Way Ticket 000 is basically Hunger Of Crota without tracking (not everybody wants tracking... it can cause unfortunate self destructs).
The Chance is an excellent hand cannon. Too bad it doesn't have Luck In The Chamber.
The The Saterienne Rapier is an optimal scout rifle.
I've been considering grinding gear for my Striker, but I'd need 195-270 Crucible marks, and I'm quite happy with the Hunter master race...

This is quite stupid tbh. There will be equivalent or better guns(stat wise) that are available and you can [b]REROLL[/b] all of the new ones. Gear will more or less be for show because they all looks so much better than the shit we have now. Perks are a bonus. Perks change with drops also so you can essentially farm the look and perks you want. No need to grind through shit for guns that don't have the perks you want and armor that looks fugly

1 답변The Saterienne Rapier was purchased yesterday as I've always wanted to play with it. It certainly is a good idea to at least check out all the old gear before it potentially goes away. Good post bud.

3 답변Also, keep your raid gear because you can upgrade them so you can reach 34. Other then that, why does anyone care about the new vendor gear? Its kind of useless.

I'd rather save my stuff to buy new things. Of course I could max out all my marks again by the time the dlc drops but what's the point? I have plenty of guns to upgrade as it is. I'm looking forward to getting new armor and weapons more. Out with the old in with the new

5 답변There is only one thing to remember. You can't just upgrade your gear and weapons. You will need the token things. You will only get them for completing the arena and nightfalls. For both of these you will need better gear than lvl 31. Even the nightfall lvl will prolly raise. Not saying it will be impossible but lvl 32 gear will help a lot unless you plan on getting carried.

The Valedictorian is also worth picking up if you don't have Radegast's, its a very good crucible launcher (clown cartridge and proximity detonation). The only downfall is the low velocity but it can be bumped up a bit with some of the other perks on it. Still hoping next week's IB has Radegasts though :)

1 답변The best things to buy are armor pieces. You can upgrade them to the light cap with HoW. So, you can essentially pick which perks you want based on what's available. That's the big problem with raid gear. It's so random. You might want Int and Disc but get Str with Scout and Fusion ammo. I'm just going out and buying all the gear I know I might want to use. Especially gear with Melee attack speed, grenade throw distance, and increased super energy from kills / grenades.
