To all the people telling us "then leave"
Destiny is a game that was completed last year and chopped up and sold back to you, with the final piece arriving this coming month.
The "new" social region as well as 3/4 new missions were cut from the game and people were already talking about it in January/Dec as one of the things missing from the original release. Anyone replying with the traditional "source?" can look it up.
Anyways the reason we are all still here is the fact that Destiny is an AMAZING game. HOWEVER it is an amazing game that was chopped up and sold to us in 3 pieces, and was already done in November.
Anyone disputing this can look up the redditor comments by the head writer who left due to the arguments between himself and the Activision rep over cutting up and changing the storyline to make the traveler the good guy. (Bungie traditionally puts in a plot twist halfway through as with The Flood in Halo, or finding out the Traveler is actually the bad guy fooling us all, and is still damaged from the war with earth as in this one)
The game in itself is fun. It's just 5 minutes of fun. Ridiculous is also the fact that Bungie/Activision keep releasing cut content acting like they are doing us favors.
Obviously people who reply with homophobic comments such as "FGT" or other insulting comments which are traditional in response to any criticisms of destiny, have only this destroyed their own argument, as no one will take it seriously.
Edit: My problem is not just what was posted above, but the fact that the game was entirely too short . If this shooter rpg had shared the length of a traditional one (single player is more than 12 hours) I could have grudgingly lived with

Edit 3: Unless you buy everything on a whim your "can't afford it?" arguments are hypocritical. Sorry fam.
The real amazement comes at the amount of delusion here on these forums in the face of a very calm OP. You have only helped my argument due to making yourselves all look like 11 year old children.
I do however appreciate those few that have been able to remain an adult even if I do not share your opinion.

Something happened in the development of Destiny. No one knows for sure what it was but the game was not cut apart, it was changed. My guess is that the original story was not sustainable for a ten year project, or that activision got involved somehow and made changes.

3 답변Your entire post is wrong. There is absolute no proof of cut content and even Bungie has stated that the reef was unpolished and the dlc areas are just placeholders. You want some real proof? Take [b]The Terminus[/b] For example.. Look at it before the patch and look at it now.

3 답변We live in a capitalistic society, the whole point of a business is to make money. Bungie/Activision are both businesses. They cut content to raise profits standard business procedure in my opinion. How much a consumer trusts the product or business depends on their level of intelligence. I know Activision is a shitty company so I don't preorder or buy their games too often. Bethesda or Rockstar have a stellar reputation, and I have no problem preordering or buy their games. My point is your a consumer with access to tons of information, don't blame Bungie for being a business and trying to make money off their customers. I for one brought Destiny knowing exactly how they do business. Be smart about how you spend money and you wont feel ripped off.

The developer determines what the "final game" is, because they're the ones that made it. It's up to the consumer to determine if that "final game" is worth purchasing. So if you've already purchased and played the game, you have no reason to whine or complain about the content of the base game, because you already made your decision that it was worth purchasing, and knew about the future DLC ahead of time. Doing so would be idiotic, because you would be admitting that you were too stupid to know what you were buying, even though it was all clearly laid out, prior to release. So, if you are not intelligent enough to understand this concept, then please leave.

2 답변So you have about 100 hours of play time in Destiny. I have 3 words of advice for you --- "Git gud scrub!!!" On a serious note, as others have posted, this topic has been debated ad nauseam for the past 6 months +. Why do you find it necessary to post the same thing over and over again?

2 답변Look, everybody knows this game isn't perfect. The only reason everybody gets mad is because you feel the need to tell other people how bad this game is. In short, we're not the people that want to hear you rant on. Write Bungie a sternly written letter, that will do you more good. Just remember, before you post stuff like this, ask yourself "What are my goals here, what am I after?" Just some food for thought.

[b][u]THIS IS DIRECTED AT THE TITLE ONLY[/u][/b] The only people I say "leave then" to are those who only complain but offer no constructive criticism. In my opinion, if all you can do [i]is[/i] complain then you should leave. Why would you spend time in a game that you only have complaints about? However, if you do enjoy playing the game and offer constructive criticism then say what you want. I work with the public and have a few customers that complain about everything each time they come in. I am very professional at work. I always ask (I am actually interested) why they still shop there. The answers I get are generally "I'm used to it" or "I'm comfortable here." How sound is it that you are "used" or "comfortable" to complaining? Maybe it is time to move on. Or try a something new. I am not saying this game is perfect, by any means, but I still have fun playing it. TL:DR If you are here to [i]only[/i] complain, then move on. If you still have fun but have some critiques and enjoy playing, then I look forward to reading those. Thank you too those that read this.

1 답변There is no monthly subscription fee and the game is maintained 24/7/365; Even if what you state is all true I have no problems with it at all. You really expect them to just sell a game for $65 and then support it for the next 10 years with no future plans for income? I'd much rather they break the game up then: - Stop supporting it after a year - Charge a monthly fee - Charge $120 for the game
