Destiny is a game that was completed last year and chopped up and sold back to you, with the final piece arriving this coming month.
The "new" social region as well as 3/4 new missions were cut from the game and people were already talking about it in January/Dec as one of the things missing from the original release. Anyone replying with the traditional "source?" can look it up.
Anyways the reason we are all still here is the fact that Destiny is an AMAZING game. HOWEVER it is an amazing game that was chopped up and sold to us in 3 pieces, and was already done in November.
Anyone disputing this can look up the redditor comments by the head writer who left due to the arguments between himself and the Activision rep over cutting up and changing the storyline to make the traveler the good guy. (Bungie traditionally puts in a plot twist halfway through as with The Flood in Halo, or finding out the Traveler is actually the bad guy fooling us all, and is still damaged from the war with earth as in this one)
The game in itself is fun. It's just 5 minutes of fun. Ridiculous is also the fact that Bungie/Activision keep releasing cut content acting like they are doing us favors.
Obviously people who reply with homophobic comments such as "FGT" or other insulting comments which are traditional in response to any criticisms of destiny, have only this destroyed their own argument, as no one will take it seriously.
Edit: My problem is not just what was posted above, but the fact that the game was entirely too short . If this shooter rpg had shared the length of a traditional one (single player is more than 12 hours) I could have grudgingly lived with
Edit 2: Half of you people could work in PR:
"Don't like our product? Don't complain if you can't afford it child"
Edit 3: Unless you buy everything on a whim your "can't afford it?" arguments are hypocritical. Sorry fam.
The real amazement comes at the amount of delusion here on these forums in the face of a very calm OP. You have only helped my argument due to making yourselves all look like 11 year old children.
I do however appreciate those few that have been able to remain an adult even if I do not share your opinion.

Your opinion is valid. However, it is a video game. I choose to play this one because I enjoy many aspects of it. If you feel you were cheated on content, so be it. I have no knowledge of what they did or did not have completed at release. It doesn't matter really. I enjoy the game. It's really that simple. I would love more content and look forward to the next dlc.

13 답변Intelligent comments like this don't belong on this forum. Especially if they paint the biggest, most bestest, super game EVER in a bad light (yes, I do English brah). Trying to convince people, who received a regular hamburger when they expected and ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, that they should be aware and upset with this tomfoolery is a dubious task at best... especially when they've convinced themselves that since Bungie never specifically promised that sweet stack of goodness, one boring patty is enough and tastes fabulous. The complainers aren't going anywhere. The fanboys sure as shit aren't going anywhere. I guess we'll just see what the latest DLC offers. That's Bungie for ya; putting the D in DLC.

Want proof that the dlc is shit? Our own community leader hasn't even done the dark below raid. Not a single time. Actually looking at his accounts it looks like he has only played crucible since around the time tdb launched.

4 답변Idk guys. If you are able to spend $300 plus on a console, why is 35$ (or $40 if bought seperately) a big deal? If you are having financial trouble, money on a game shouldn't be a priority. Just saying. Not hating or judging on anyone. I completely understand your dissatisfaction with the recent changes but c'mon.

작성자: WhitEWatchEs 4/30/2015 12:30:35 AMIf purchasing video game content is a financial strain, I suggest concentrating on finding a better paying job. Or maybe adjust where else you put your money. Or just ask mommy and daddy for a allowance raise, or any other weird excuse you can think of that somehow should deserve money. I'm probably not as upset as most people because i usually don't buy into video game hype, not until I've seen some actual gameplay AFTER the game has been released.

the gaming industry is nuts. These two packs are maybe worth $15 combined in content. And now Arkham Knight's DLC is $40, and they've barely said anything about what's in it. Too bad people will buy it anyway, and by the season pass right off. They're all fools after what Bungie pulled with Destiny. I'm never buying a season pass again, and as it is, am buying very few games at full retail price. I can wait for a price drop/GOTY. If enough people would do this, the industry would change. But people will waste their money on anything. And, for anyone who's gonna be a d-ck, I have a job, and my own place. I pay rent, and food, and everything else. I have the money to spend, but I don't spend it foolishly.

I like the game and its content old and upcoming. I think to many people fell into the hype wich made them upset when they cut it up. Just like watching a movie trailer and thinkin its going to be bad ass and you go see it and its not what you thought. I try to never get into the hype about any thing.

I do agree with your post. I believe that most of the features in the game that have been added or about to be added with How, should have been there from the start and the thing they are calling 'dlc' seems to be lacking in the content part BUUUTTTT... I still enjoy the game even though I just started playing again after taking a 2-3 month break.
