High Rof AR's also need a massive damage buff.....in close range.
Guns like shotguns and Vex completely invalidate them in their intended ranges, so I had a nice little idea how this could be settled.
It's simple really, give them (the high RoFs) a 8.7 style damage buff BUT give them more drop off at range, so the damage buff is really only noticeable in the range ARs are supposed to compete with anyway. What do we think about this? (Think Nechrochasm and Monte Carlo actually being amazing guns in PvE AND PvP, it is most certainly possible.)

The first AR buff was ok, but the second one completely ruined the gun and made shotguns OP. Sure take away some of the range but don't scale the damage and make the time to kill so dang low. I love AR's and I think a lot of people do too, too bad they are useless in the crucible.

작성자: The 7th fall 4/24/2015 2:00:05 AMFor me auto rifles are supposed to shred at close-medium range, I say buff the damage back to it's original state before the nerf, and extend the range a little bit. If Bungievision had of just buffed pulse rifles and not nerfed auto rifles(apart from the rest of the Primary weapons), then the choices could've been great.

Actually, this seems to pretty much be what those AR's need! Bravo! If they need to decrease the range of those particular AR's even more then so be it! But they certainly need to wreck like no other primary does at close range.
