2 답변I can't think of 1 situation where having a perk on a piece of armour (not relevant to the task I'm doing) has hindered me in any way what so ever. If you're a decent player armour perks are basically irrelevant. I'd still be able to get through Crota's End Hard mode if I was wearing level 32 VOG armour no bother

1 답변All I know is that I main a Warlock but the first Old Gear I upgrade is for my Titan. That being the Battlecage of Kabr. Love that damn helmet.

I bet they don't have new gear. Here's why. We all complained when TDB dropped that the noob 32s never had to earn their 30 gear in The VoG. By making only raid hear upgradable it will force new players into the raids for grind before allowing them to be 34. Or they just Get Gud in the Trials, but my suspicion is they will Get Rekt.

2 답변I feel having more options to get to Lvl 34 means there is more gear. As it stands right now you have two options. Ce gear and ib gear. Ok so you can mix them up and throw in an exotic but there just isn't enough to make yourself unique. If you can upgrade all legendary armor to Lvl 34 then you have ways of having different load outs. You already see people choosing Lvl 31 over Lvl 32 in pvp purely for some of the perks. I feel most gear becomes irrelevant once you hit 32 which is a shame so I personally feel the more options gives more variety.

5 답변Bungie has no clue how leveling should work. The point is to constantly moving up. Going out to earn higher level gear to keep up with the level cap is pointless if I can just upgrade what I already have.

1 답변I'm not following you at all. Allowing us to upgrade old gear does not affect the amount of gear or content the game has. They are still going to add gear in the HoW. We're just going to have more options now. The idea that only one set of armor at a time should be the best (VOG armor or CE armor) is a terrible idea. It's the whole reason why everyone looks the same. There needs to be options, not just one set of armor to hit max level.

3 답변The max level is supposed to be 36 (or so I've been told) so there will still be gear to seek after. Don't forget there's the arena and trials of osiris gear that will most likely be higher.

I think it will be great to combine different looks and perks and still maintain max level. Plus when you face different enemies it will be nice to get the perks from each different type of enemy. I think the more gear at useable level the better.

How will having 5 different sets of armor to choose from to hit max level, limit content? HOW?!?! Upgrading armor gives us options, variety, how is that a bad thing. How can you possibly complain about that? Stop desperately looking for shxt to complain about on these forums, it's annoying. Also arena most likely will not come with its own set of gear. It's not gonna need any. All it's gonna be is a horde mode with a mini boss at each level.

1 답변I don't you'll be able to go straight to 34 or upgrade all weapons the first day. My guess is some type of token system got completing the arena that allows one piece of gear to get an upgrade.

1 답변Yeah VoG gear is a raid specific, but armor perks are generally shit The only necessary perk is increased heavy ammo, which VoG armor has Also, they never said 34 is the max light level On TDB, the came out and said 32 was the max They haven't said 34 is the max, so I'm guessing ToO or TPoE will has 35/36 gear

There is near gear in there. The point of upgrading VOG is not to destroy the efforts of VOG raiders. Ultimately you should choose whatever armor you want to wear but choose wisely based on perks that benefit you in differing circumstances.
