What if the prison of elders forces you to fight enemies other than just the fallen (which I think would be pretty cool and allow for the replayability they claim it has) and it incorporates the relics and oracles and things that the old raid gear is designed for, I think that would be an interesting use of the old gear and give a reason to have the old gear upgradeable. Like how cool would it be to have a wave of vex where you have to run down a long hallway of supplicants with oracles spawning as you move forward, that would make great use of the vault gear and give a reason to have it at level 34. It would also create interesting set ups. Say the next wave is platforms that you have to reach and to get the next one to appear you need to kill a sword bearer and a gate keeper. You could split the armor between people in your fire team or have specialists for each enemy type. I just think this would be a cool idea, don't mind me.

The community has been asking for these things for a long time now. Upgrading old armor/weapons, horde based mode (if it actually is one), a permanent pvp playlist that gives significant rewards and a raid that will most likely be released within a month or two of release.

They didn't actually show upgrading gear. They showed upgrading weapons. Which was awesome because you won't have to relevel to weapon. However they only showed a 34 in VoG armor. This could be transmog. This could be a teaser that VoG will drop 34 level armor. Or they are going to make it upgradable. This is good. Because options are good. Also they've already announced that there will be gear from arena.

I think this is cool. Gives us new reasons to rerun the old raids and let people have more than one armor set. Not to mention old reliable weapons like VOC and Fatebringer will still be useful. It's like pseudo-new content. I do think we should have a separate armor tab for a social slot, similar to Terraria, this is a step in the right direction.

Why do people think this is to rip off people. It's already confirmed new gear coming out with this expansion. I also felt this was in response to people want to look different and have the same effectiveness. There are only a few pieces o gear that are oriented toward raid only. Other pieces are effective against the race. Leveled gear also has no impact on the game outside iron banner and Crota at the moment.

I don't really mind, I think the main reason they did it is to make people look different by being able to mix things up? I might be wrong but that's what I picked up on. Also, I only just got enough crota gear to get up to 32 on my hunter so I don't want to let go of it yet xD

1 답변Best way to improve a game: Make it more difficult. There is a reason people are giving rave reviews of Bloodborne and it's because the game is very difficult and therefor more rewarding. Destiny is trending towards becoming easy mode and catering to care bears. Most players are , "I want this" or "I demand that" and each time they are catered to, the game becomes easier and less interesting. We have gamers here that are too lazy or possessive of their old gear to even want to get excited for new gear to replace it when new content is released. That is just plain dumb. Or their precious weapons that absolutely have to be upgraded with every expansion or game update because they just love it oh so much. All of this is detracting from new content and originality. Players should strive for new gear with different perks rather than cry in the tower demanding that their gear be upgraded so they don't have to move on to something new.

작성자: Grimace221 4/22/2015 12:28:23 PMNot going to spew hate at you, but for my two cents, leveling old gear doesn't mean less content, it means more flexibility in how you look. The biggest complaint I hear is that hitting max level means you look like everyone else, and that's kind of boring. I end up running around at a lower level in my Queens armor, just to look a little different. Hopefully, all legendary gear can have its light level raised, that will allow some real customization. Also, we still have no idea what the requirements for raising light level are going to be. What if we have to use 25 radiant materials, Crota becomes pretty relevant. What if VOG armor needs a boat load of ascendant mats? We don't know, so we shouldn't fault it until we do.

1 답변What if: You don't upgrade current gear and weapons but instead they raise the level of difficulty on the old raids and the new drops are the upgraded gear and weapons! This is what I'm hoping for.

작성자: GalaxySpider 4/22/2015 1:23:57 PMCE and VoG gear parts always have 3 perks instead of the regular 2 from normal legendary stuff. So the individual Raid perks are just a bonus. You are not losing anything while using Raid gear. Old gear should be equal, cauz otherwise there would be no reason to play VoG anymore. Right now VoG gear IS pointless to grind for since vendors sell +30 light level armor. Also, just for the looks, people want that armor. Changing the visuals for armor like in D3 is no option currently in Destiny, so basically we should be happy with that change for now. Transmogri....whatsoever would be awesome though.

You answered your own complaint... Even if VoG and CE armor is upgraded, the perks are geared towards a certain event. So Arena gear will still be "better" for the Arena due to the specific perks it will have. Everyone wins - you can wear the gear you want for aesthetics without losing light level or armor rating, AND you can get new gear that will be best used in HoW content.

2 답변When you do the upgrade from xur, it resets everything right? Maybe they will make it so it not only jumps up in light level, but maybe rerolls it somehow to make it more useful? Idk. Hey I'm going to Disneyland in a few hours.
