Deej ignores the backlash
Deej literally went out of his way to avoid the whole no raid controversy and instead focused on purple ball. "Wow look at the purple ball it's so awesome." "Don't worry about no raid look at the ball it's so cool." Then he tells us what we already know, when to watch the developers give us a tour of the reef. I know he doesn't make the game but he could at least say bungie is aware of the outrage, and how many people are leaving destiny. Let me know what you guys think below.

VAULT OF GLASS - A great raid that was riddled with glitches for months, received mass hate, but still was successful. A minimum of three people was required for this raid. Gear had to be grinded for like no other. CROTA'S END - A small raid, no bigger than a strike, and could be beaten in the same time. Team was not required whatsoever, whole raid cheesable. Gear tossed around like candy, and full of so many ghosts in the system, Pac-Man quit his day job. Received incredible amounts of hate, and overall was considered a failure compared to VoG. SURVIVAL MODE - A new area for Destiny that we know [b]NOTHING[/b] about, a concept however that has proven [b]successful[/b] in games spanning over a decade. A mode, with loot, that will [b]possibly[/b] change how we look at Destiny, as well, allow the game to evolve into something fresh. Next Raid - Still announced for release, however delayed for further testing to prevent another Crota's End from happening. Smartest decision yet given that rushed content is bad content. May come with comet, may come out late HoW. TBD. All in all, if you quit this game over not getting a Raid at release of HoW, good riddance. We didn't get VoG the second we bought Destiny did we? And yet it still worked out perfectly. I'll be enjoying two new additions to Destiny while you cry over a delayed raid. [spoiler]And for the babies saying HoW isn't worth 20$ without a raid, 20$ is pocket change. It's literally nothing if you actually have a job. And if spending 20$ on a hobby would break your bank, maybe you shouldn't be playing video games and you should get your life figured out.[/spoiler]

2 답변Actually the purple ball thing was directed at the forums because people were saying they probably spent more time on the purple ball than the dlc. Nice work on that DeeJ and others.

Yeah, because if he addressed it people would blame him for everything. He keeps quiet on things because he'd rather let the community converse themselves. He's not a developer, so actually he can't really say anything about it because he had nothing to do with the decision. What do you want him to do? Become a raid designer and speak on behalf of them overnight?

5 답변DeeJ has been the worst community manager I have ever seen. He's a great spokesman, don't get me wrong. But he's an atrocious, atrocious, atrocious community manager. Destiny gets a lot of terrible, unwarranted hate but DeeJ getting crapped on is not one of them.

Payment is earned, if it bothers you that much for any given reason, Don't pay them. A million people do that, they lost 60 million dollars.

21 답변i don't understand why everyone needs a reply form Deej for every little thing. are you all looking for acceptance or just attention your parents don't give you? seriously, it doesn't matter what bungie does, people will bitch about something. they could give comet free of charge and people will still say its too expensive. it doesn't matter, people will always find something to bitch about. Deej doesn't need to reply, that's not his job. relaying the info to the Dev's is his job. his job description doesn't include replying to every single whiny post. just posting it means he has seen it. that is all you need to know.

Someone on the internet getting mad about something isn't news. It's the opposite of news. If I need to know people on the forums are bitching about something I'll just check the forum. I don't need Deej to waste his time putting that into a weekly update.

Hey give them a break, they started working on changing the purple ball after the first month of release. It's a huge achievement they finally finished that project. Instead of being a jerk give them props, they are trying to make this game better.
