I earned my Last Word.
Got TLW from VoG this week. Now Xûr wants to sell it? I'm quitting Destiny, Bungie you better remove him in Destiny 2 so that every has to earn their exotics through being blessed by RNGsus.

작성자: Barny Trubble 4/18/2015 5:09:20 AMTLW was my first exotic, got it as a nightfall reward. I didn't earn it, I had barely been playing the game a month and I got carried through by a friend. There is no earning in this game, there is only random chance, I have several vog and crota completions but not nearly as much as some, that being said I've received exotics that player with almost double my grimoire and over double my play time may never get. It's random, this earning nonsense has to stop at some point.

Now did I deserve my TLW more than someone who purchased it from Xur? No I did not. I was randomly rewarded it for completing a raid with the help of 5 other people. Any of those individuals could have gotten it or something better based on pure luck. In short nothing gifted to you from RNG is truly earned. The only exotics that are actually earned are those awarded for completing exotic bounties.

Yeah I "earned" the last word by finishing a super super hard ROC strike. After 10 minutes of fighting hard against the almighty archon priest I was rewarded with a much deserved last word. Let me tell you what, THAT is earning it.
