What's up with that Vandal?
Over in the forgotten shore, by a cave near the main shipwreck, there is a level 3 or 4 reaver vandal who has the health of a level 20+. Is this a glitch? Is this old news? Very weird.

3 답변Maybe I'm having a noob moment, but I thought Randal the Vandal had been patched so he wasn't an infinite bullet sponge.

3 답변I've only tea bagged a PvE enemy once... I was completing the sixth mission in a patrol Cosmodrome bounty. I had to scan that thing right next to Randal. I tried to avoid him, just scan it and go on my way, but no - he would have none of that. After emptying all of my ammo from all three guns, using my super, a couple grenades, a few melees, and finally, getting help from another Guardian, Randal went down. I tea bagged and danced on his grave (and almost forgot to scan the thing I came there for). He is more difficult than half of the strike bosses. That health bar just doesn't move.

작성자: LagTime999 4/17/2015 3:25:27 PMlol Randall on the prowl ......a little story....second or third week after game came out, I'm walking around proud with my lvl 28 TITAN and my first legendary HC ( TDYK) doing a little chest farming when I see this lowly lvl 7 vandal with his floating metal crab... I jumped out off my sparrow and put one bullet on the crab and pop two on the vandal's head, and start to continue towards the cave when I realized the vandal's health didn't even bundge and he was right behind be firing away , I turn and empty my remaining rounds on his head.....he staggers and shakes it off (health bar still almost full)...it was on then, for the next 5-10 mints I had the most enjoyable fight with any enemy in this game, the whole time saying to my self " why won't this -blam!-er die!".....he was a lot tougher back then....I still go there every now and then...he shows up sometimes and we go at it like the old days.

Refreshing to hear some of these old questions again. I often forget there are probably noobs joining the community every day. I remember thinking the same thing when I first encountered Randall. Until I was up there in level, I always hoped I wouldn't get Randall as I was farming for my 10 fallen majors in that area. The worst was when a public event launched as I was trying to kill Randall. What to do, what to do. There was just something about knowing it was Randall that I had to expend every last round I had to bring him down or die in the process. LOL

7 답변I'm pretty sure Crota goes down easier than Randall lol. I always take a shot at him as I ride past to see if he's on hard mode lol then if he is I initiate a fisticuffs session with him. One of my Destiny rituals. :)

Sir, you have been in the presence of the LEGEND of the Cosmodrome! Next time you meet him, you better -blam!-ing wave first to ensure you are showing him the respect he deserves. More literally, when you meet him, he typically has the health of a character about 2 levels above you, so it will always be fun!
