I'm curious as to what the floods opinion is on death. Does it scare you? Or are you content with the inevitable?
It used to really freak me out when I was younger that everything and everyone I will ever know and love, will one day not exist to me anymore.
I find it strange that I'm only 23 and am completely content with death. I wouldn't want it to happen soon because I have a 2 year old son and a 4 month old son, but death doesn't scare me like it used to.
I also have a fascination with finally learning what happens after death, if anything. When I was a little kid my parents always took me to church and the thought of everything just going black and nothing happens used to scare me.
Now I realize that it's foolish to be scared of such a fate. If absolutely nothing happens when you die, why would you care? It's not like you're going to have a conscience to understand what has happened to you. The concept of everything going black wouldn't even happen either. No conscience means you wouldn't be able to register what total blackness would even be. It actually seems very peaceful if you think about it.
So flud are you afraid to die?

I'm not afraid to die, as Ray from trailer park boys once said "it's the way she goes boys". Just like life, it's the way she goes. If you live your life in fear of death you're not really living, on the counter side if you live too in the moment you die before you can live. You gotta find a happy medium between knowing you could die at any given moment, without being scared of it. Be mindful of your surroundings and use logic and common sense and you should be fine. Bad things happen to good people, but if you're a good moral person by any standard you should have a good time with your time on this planet, but always remember your time here is borrowed, don't waste it and don't throw it away.

When death comes, I will embrace it. It could be 90 years from now, or it could happen right after I post this. Don't be afraid of something you cannot control. Live each day to the fullest, be happy. One day we'll all be dead and forgotten.

3 답변Wow look at all the edgy people who aren't afraid of death. We're all afraid of death. You can say that you're not afraid of it but when shit gets real and you're actually going to die, you'll be afraid.

3 답변We're all afraid of death. It's naturalistic reactions or instinct to be scared of death. Anyone who says they aren't, stop trying to be a hard ass. You're not impressing anyone.

I'm afraid to die. But if there comes a time where anyone else is at the risk of dying. I will do my dam dest to try to save them. Because anything I can become is nothing compared to someone who has the motivation to make me feel like I didn't make a mistake

I pretty much agree with OP. I don't have any kids and I'm a bit older, but death doesn't scare me. I don't want to die, and I have my beliefs about what will happen after, but I'm looking forward to it. Finding out what's on the other side.
