Gjallarhorn=Useless?
Guardians with this release of a horde mode in destiny, will Gjallarhorn lose it's value in this new expansion?
Obviously Gjallarhorn will be even better for atheon and Crota because of the extra damage. But how useful will a rocket launcher be in a horde mode, [spoiler]imagine using a rocket launcher in COD zombies, [/spoiler]
Unless there is some sort of Archon Priest boss after a few "waves". Rocket launchers aren't going to be to useful in comparison to machine guns which can wipe out multiple enemies and hold more bullets.
So I ask you fellow guardians, what will be the fate of our beloved rocket launcher, Gjallarhorn[spoiler]on a side note, ruin wings have finally gotten their calling, with many enemies in a horde there will be purple boxes, everywhere![/spoiler]
Edit: I'm not expecting to be rushed by fallen or whatever enemy, I'm just wondering how our favorite weapon will deal against spread out enemies

12 답변Just wanna point this out: A 365 Gjally would do no more extra damage to Atheon than a 300 Gjally. Max damage is capped at the level of the enemy.

Your heavy should be used to down strong enemies fast, not the little weak ones. Knowing that, a primary and special should be sufficient for all the minor enemies and gally will be used for any large scale boss type enemy that emerges.

1 답변You're assuming two things. 1) that it will be a horde style fight. 2) that they will bum rush you in a fashion that would make high explosives dangerous. Even if it was the case I would use mine simply as a good clearing weapon. It's not hard to kill rushing waves of mobs with it. Jump aim shoot.

Have you ever used a good rocket in cod zombies it's the best for hordes because of splash and fall has seeking drones afterwards too it'll be the go to weapon if you have a good legendary shotgun/fusion rifle and primary
