I think the recent nerf to auto rifles doesn't help anymore. My shotgun, (invective) can take down an enemy with ease, while I'm wasting a whole mag or two from my auto rifle. Particularly the harpies in the Templar part of vault of glass. I can take down a harpie with one mag of the invective but it takes three or four from a fully upgraded payback sos. The payback is 331 damage and the invective has 302. I'm puzzled. Anything to make this more fair would help a ton bungie.
