If you haven't read the weekly update today go check it out. There are only a handful of things outlined, but this is by far the best news to come about. Anyone else excited? This will be rolling in the next Destiny update.
"We reduced Valus Ta’Aurc’s health by a third..."
Edit One: Just to be clear, it has nothing to do with the strikes difficulty, I feel like that is fine, it is simply because Valus is a bullet sponge. Reducing his health will bring him more inline with other strike bosses. The time this strike takes to complete is why people leave.

12 답변I personally think they went the wrong way with this... Instead they should of made all the other strikes harder! ROC strikes are too easy now. Bring it on bungie!!!

1 답변He was never that difficult to kill. Fixed the glitches added more content is all I want to read

2 답변Neither of them were HARD, they were just LONG and ANNOYING. I'm personally glad they dropped Rockets health, but Psion Flayers have never been an issue. Get a few shotguns/rockets and they go down fast.

1 답변Valus was never hard to beat, he just spends a lot of time running away. With all that health he had, it would definetly take a while to kill and it gets boring. Lol

4 답변Now hopefully he wont take 397,718 sniper shots, 93,729 missiles, and 37 nukes to kill.

1 답변I get this strike takes a long time if you kill every enemy. But you can skip all but the Goliath Tank section and Valus. Guess I have never seen this strike as too long.

5 답변This strike takes longer because of cabal Sheilds, just allow armor piercing rounds to work on them and problem solved. Another option would be to have the Sheilds take damage, eventually get destroyed. Those Sheilds are op.

3 답변His fight was fine, whoever thought this was a good idea forgot what the Cabal are supposed to be.

2 답변Everything in the game is easy enough as it is, why make it even easier. Give us more challenging content, daily nightfalls on story missions and such.

3 답변I think the boss health levels are fine, they need to reduce the ENEMY DAMAGE. It pisses me off when you have to cheese something (which I hate doing and never had to do in any other game) because the game design is bad. Bosses with rapid firing, splash damage projectiles that can 1-2 hit kill you, + constantly respawing ads?? WTF. That's that's extremely unforgiving...but I could live with it if there was any sort of realistically useable cover. Phogoth with any nightfall burn for example is damn near unbeatable without cheese because of this. EVEN IF you were somehow astronomically good enough to go out where the ads are and not die, you would never have time to shoot Phogoth or any ads because you would be sprinting and jumping forever (the ads will follow you around anything you tried to hide behind)... and even if you were astronomically able to dodge infinite wizard blasts, hive boomers, + Phogoth, AND get shots on Phogoth here and there, the strike would take you til next Christmas and the whole thing would not even be worth it. Especially when you are rewarded with 12 ascendant energies. end rant

12 답변Give all strike bosses a 3-4% chance to drop a specific exotic item, Problem Solved. EVERY strike boss employs the following strategy: "Hide, mag dump, hide, mag dump, hide, super, hide, mag dump, hide."

4 답변People crying about "OMG people bungie is catering to newbs because *its too hard* need to get over themselves and get good. 1) the world doesnt revolve around you. 2) it's not about "it's too hard" it's about "it takes too long". They could *triple* his health and it wouldn't be harder as much as just more time consuming. Get a few head shots and take cover when you inevitably get shot by something. It is not rocket science. 3) this isnt really talked about but the reason people dont like to play it is there is no reward that makes it worth the extra time, or effort. You have the same .000000000000000001% chance of getting something good as with any other strike.
