There's a grimoire card where a dying captain gives Cayde a shock pistol. Maybe there should be a bounty for it: 1. Speak to Cayde. He will send you to the moon to look for the captains corpse. You will have to find it yourself, and it will be in a random place near the entrance to the temple of Crota (The 'we've woken the hive' doorway). 2. Upon scanning her corpse (she was clearly referred to as a 'she' in the grimoire card), you will receive one of her snapped swords. You must then give the sword to Cayde. He will thank you and give you her pistol in return. He tells you that the pistol ran out of charge a long time ago, but the gunsmith may be able to fix that. 3. Take the pistol to the gunsmith. He will tell you that he has never worked on fallen tech and will need some more samples of fallen weapons before he can work on the pistol. 4. Kill fallen majors and collect 10 of their weapons. Base chance for these to drop will be about 35%. If you kill fallen with explosives, you have no chance of receiving a weapon as it will be destroyed. Melee kills will bump up the chance to 40%, as this will be less likely to damage the weapons than gunfire. 5. Once you have all 10 weapons, you can return to the gunsmith. He can now start work on the pistol. According to the schematics of collected fallen weaponry, the pistol will need a powerful tracking computer and charging cycle. 6. You must dismantle 1 rare or better rocket launcher with the tracking perk. This will give you an a advanced tracking computer. You also need to dismantle 1 legendary or better fusion rifle. This will give you an advanced charging cycle. Hand both of these in to the gunsmith. 7. The gunsmith will give you a completed pistol after you hand in the 2 items. Take this to Cayde and he will give you the final piece to complete the weapon. He will now give you 'The diplomat', an exotic handcannon. The Diplomat [i]-Then she did the strangest thing. She took the last pistol from her bandolier, and threw it to me, as an offering-[/i] Firerate: 35 (same as WoC) Impact: 80 Range: 30 Stability: 55 Reload: 50 Magazine: 8 Base perks: Arc damage Slow projectiles- Rounds from this weapon have a low velocity 1st perk: Feeding frenzy Unique perk: The diplomat- Rounds fired from this weapon have a slight tracking effect. This weapon can be fired in full auto. That's it. What do you think? Edit: A lot of people have been complaining about the legendary launcher w/ tracking bit. Maybe I should change it to a rare or better launcher with tracking? Yeah, I'll do that.

I want the rifle that hobgoblins use. The wire rifle or line rifle?

And people forget how weak it is when dregs use it.

Hey just wanted to say congratulations on realizing the DREAM. Cant wait to try out the fallen tech they have in the HoW dlc. You should try asking for more like improve the PoE in comet dlc by adding more rooms. :)

Already is an exotic within HoW but isnt a hand cannon its a new sidearm for spiecal slot.

There are strong rumours that we will get a Shrapnel Exotic Shotgun. I hope we get different Fallen weapons as well.

What I've really wanted since day one, is a wire rifle. Those things wreck.

Type: Arc Initial perk: Firefly Hidden perk: When enemies explode with firefly an electric bubble goes out and shocks them with arc damage instead of a fiery explosion (does the normal amount of damage) Exotic perk: Health regeneration is 50% faster when this weapon is equipped.

U agree this should be a weapon but it would be op in PvP because fallen weapon bullets track there targets

Ok so i thought of a great idea to obtain this weapon. It will be an exotic quest obtained like all the others ------------------------------------------------------ 1. [i]honor cayde-6's fallen friend[/i]. Kill 200 hive enemies. Killing any fallen will reset your progress. 2. Cayde is pleased with your work! He has given you a decharged shock pistol. Melee 30 reader captains or vandals to take their swords and charge the shock pistol.return to cayde 3. This weapon is unstable. Go to the crucible and kill 100 guardians with an arc damage to give the weapon light. 4.obtain a shock pistol from cayde. ------------------------------------------------------ [u]fallen shock pistol[/u] [i]taken from cayde-6's fallen friend.
