This Is Disgusting Bungie.
1/3. 33%. This is how much time I have spent in orbit, not playing the game but wasting my time. (not inactive but talking to party /managing inventory and loading. God. Beautiful, but tired of it now )
The main issue I think is the [u]amount[/u] of times we have to load/orbit and not the duration of orbit itself.
Here is the twist, it's the same ratio (total hours/playing hours)on all my characters. Titan with 330/230 hours, Warlock with 30/20, hunter with 3.5/2.5.
Go to destinystatus.com and tell me what your ratio is. If it's similar (or worse..) they need to change the game flow.
Edit: I also [u]never [/u]AFK. I just shut the console off.
So similar numbers across the board. Good points have been made about the different activities having different amounts of orbit time. Also a few outliers, highest above 50%...
Edit 2:
Let's create some solutions to this problem also. If we had the option to spawn in the tower rather than orbit that would save some time. We could also shop from vendors and collect/conplete bounties from the app, again saving 2 load screens.

I asked for a million bucks not a million ducks!" The man says "I told you so! Do you think i wished for a 10 inch pianist!" The moral is be careful what you wish for.

You must be doing something wrong, mine isn't even 1/3 and I CONSTANTLY leave my Xbox on in orbit for hours while watching movies, going outside and plenty others if someone just comes over or I gotta leave for then. I even just sit there in orbit talking with friends more then I should

Mines maybe half? But to be fair, ill often leave myself in orbit and leave, go eat ect..so i wouldnt say that stat is even close to being accurate, realistically i know were im going and fo it fast, and ill doend much longer playing in said area
