1 답변No it wont. I see a lot of ppl say it will but it shows that ppl dont read anything. Some ppl from bungie stated that it was a mistake to make raid gear absolete as soon as the dlc dropped. They plan on changing that and that is probally the reason HoW is coming so late.

11 답변Jesus have you never played a progressive rpg before? Look at wow, any of the starting high end gear gets replaced as soon as something new comes out, this is nothing new you are just incredibly behind apparently.

1 답변Yes. And I still stand by that some of the best looking gear in this game is the blue stuff... There are some great models in that pile of trash that nobody ever looks at because the stats are rubbish. Bring on a vendor who lets us transmog appearance.

1 답변작성자: JHarv 3/30/2015 5:17:19 PMI'd be willing to bet the new vendor gear will be light 39. meaning 3 new vendor pieces + upgraded exotic will give you level 33. I don't see them doing it any other way. If they decide to keep everyone at level 32 until we get raid gear, nobody will want to play anything BUT the raid. There will be no point in grinding vanguard marks, commendations, all that other crap that they bank on us doing to keep us spinning the hamster wheel. The only way they could really fix their system is by granting damage increases / reduction per LIGHT SCORE. not LIGHT LEVEL. right now, being level 32 is the exact same as being level 32.9. You could be one point from level 33, and it wouldn't matter at all. However, if they decide to make a half full bar of light be stronger than an empty bar of light, well then the vendor gear would have a purpose, even if it didn't get you to level 33. Raid gear could give you 33 (which provides you with the incentive to raid) and vanguard gear could get you to level 32.75 or something (with a new system would provide you incentive to grind that 0.75 bar of light from our current level 32.00 raid gear). I hope that makes sense to people. I'm not very good at communicating my logic but it makes sense in my head. Really, right now the integer level is all that matters. Light 32, Light 33, Light 34. I'd like to see all the in-betweens matter too. It would work out better for them, and for us. Every single gear piece would count.

7 답변Vendor gear has to bump up light level otherwise the people who can't raid or don't want too will never advance beyond 32. Honstely this has been a thing in RPGs since MUDs

Of course it will. But you still need the highest level gear to compete... And that's either iron banner gear or crota gear. The most essential of the crota gear will be the boots as iron banner boots don't allow extra heavy ammo. It's all about climbing the ladder. You can't move to the next rung without stepping on the one in front of you. You're time is never wasted or made redundant as many people believe, it's just all in the process of moving forward.

4 답변I hope it is. Then I can finally do CE, because all the hardcore raiders will be in the HoW raid.

2 답변The real question is, do you really want to keep looking like a hermit crab made of hive shit when HoW drops?

작성자: Won Too Tree 3/30/2015 4:53:01 PMVoG armor is for VoG, Crota armor is made for CE. In my opinion, the only useful piece of raid armor armor for the next raid will be the boots. It's always good to carry more heavy ammo. Weapons, it all depends.

작성자: WildBill408 3/30/2015 4:41:00 PMThe level should still be helpful, but the raid stats on the armor will be a bit of a waste anyways. It looks like the idea behind raid armor is just to get you from normal mode to hard mode, period. That's where IB armor and exotics help open things up. Weapons should be fine.

1 답변I'm hoping they'll keep older gear somewhat relevant by updating them alongside house of wolves. Especially since we don't have much along the lines of top tier gear. What? Two sets for level thirty two? We're gonna need more than that.
