Why No Undying Mind or Dust Palace for Xbox?
I was watching a bit of youtube yesterday, when I discovered 2 other strikes that are purely Playstation exclusive. Seeing this, I feel a little shortchanged. Don't get me wrong, I love this game but why the hell did Bungie decide that 2 strikes had to be left out of the xbox versions? Along with that, Playstation owners have access to weapons like Hawkmoon.
It's a small injustice,but an injustice nonetheless. Why do Playstation owners get the special treatment?
If someone could answer this quandry for me great.

Edit 3: I have noticed that there are a lot of negative comments being posted here. Word of advice guys and girls; you dont have to post on this thread if you dont want to. If the question annoys you, go to another thread you find interesting. Ive personally never seen this question addressed on the forum, although I'm sure it has been many times. I regularly post on the forums, and just want the question addressed in a place I can find easily. And yes, Google is a port of call for me too.
Edit 4: It seems to me that PS owner have also been treated unfairly as they miss out on COD content. Despite most of the negative comments coming from PS users, I do sympathise that the other side of the coin so to speak is just as bad. No users on any platform should be alienated from recieving content on a cross platform title. All it does is merely create a divide in the gaming community.

9 답변Sony paid Bungie to develop exclusive content for Sony users. Microsoft didn't. Simple math. Dust Palace and Hawkmoon are very good. You aren't missing anything with Undying Mind or Fourth Horseman. I'll play thorugh UM ONCE if I get stuck with it as a Roc playlist strike. After that, I'm going to orbit. There's a point mid-strike where two or three dozen Vex majors come pouring down a narrrow stair and you have NO room to fight them. So you either DIE....or you wind up expending more in heavy ammo to finish the strike than any rewards you get from it are worth. So I just don't see the point.....

5 답변작성자: Destiny89 3/30/2015 8:55:05 AMThe better question is why buy an xbox? why buy a weak console when the other console is stronger and cheaper? or better yet why buy destiny on xbox? there were a lot of advertisements months before destiny came out saying *PS4 where the BEST destiny experience is at* ANYWAYS these strikes will hit xbox sometime this Fall so could be September, October or November.

Dust palace is a great strike, Hawkmoon and the Monte Carlo are great weapons! 4th Horseman is rubbish, the undying mind is the worst strike on the game...not ashamed to say i am one of them who departs from it! So to be fair you arent missing much!

first your a little late on that fact but its ok but the reason we have the strikes is because sony played for the exclusives and apparently bungie went to xbox to give them the chance of the exclusives and they said no so blame it on the people who gave you your system but i think you guys will get the ps exclusives in september or somewhere around the bottom end of the year

11 답변From what I've heard you're not missing much. The dust palace is just 3 dinkledoors and a triple boss and the undying mind is the most drawn out and worst strike ever.

2 답변The problem is that while exclusive content is nice - it ultimately excludes others and limits the game for everyone in this instance. These 2 exclusive strikes arent part of the weekly/nightfall rotation as the selection is cross platform. Until the strikes become available for xbox they'll never come up - which is removing content and variation from a game which already has A LOT of complaints in that area. Its a stupid as removing Bastion and First Light from regular pvp rotation and making it exclusively Combined Arms. Still limiting content at this point in the games life is a bad idea...

Undying Mind is a good strike. But Dust Palace is shit. The other things you don't get on Xbox are the 4th Horseman, which I am told is shit, and Hawkmoon, which I am told is the best Hand Cannon in the game. But I've seen neither in 7 months. Which makes them the most pointless exclusives in gaming history. There is nothing exclusive to PS4 in Destiny which is particularly compelling in my experience of this game.
