I'm 35 with a wife and 2 kids, I know what they're like, it's just how they are, I use smart ass comebacks on them myself, put them on their place you know. Gamers can be of all ages, we saw that from the elderly woman who played GTA.

Bro I'm 13 but I understand I've been screeched at for being to good ( like wtf how are you too good ) at kicking ass. I was using a green hand cannon cuz I was bored and did a challenge. The kid was using the thorn and had the worst k/d( hot the friken hell do you do that it's the thorn.) long story short I was doing better so I got reported ( figures ).

I'm 15 and I will raid with anyone, some of the best players I know are are over 30, including my friends dad that bought two consoles so they could play together his dad kicks his butt in crucible lol

I'm a teenager, and honestly I fully support diversity, I think it's cool for guys your age to play games, and some of those stupid ass holes of kids are so stupid for saying those things to you guys

Had I been thinking clearly at the time, I would have called him out on that supposed 32 in first week comment. I know that no one reached that level in the first week. There is nothing to support the insult that adults shouldn't be gaming. Last I checked, over 50% of adults played games in one form or another. Even if it's on their phones. So to all the kiddies out there who use this insult, it makes no sense. I've just gotten it a few too many times now and had to speak out. How many of you are adult gamers out there? Have you been insulted for revealing your age? At what age exactly was I supposed to turn my nose up at gaming? I didn't get the memo apparently. How many of you think this is a totally reasonable hobby for adults? Do you ever lower your age to avoid criticism? Why should we feel like we have to just because there are ignorant, immature kids out there who use their parents as an example for the average adult? I know quite a few people who game with their dads. Does that make their dad a loser? Please feel free to comment on this matter. I really want to hear from the adults out there so I know I'm not crazy. Let's put this ridiculous insult and way of thinking to rest. But I Love playing destiny and I'm not embarrassed because of my age even though my wife argues with me for playing it cuz she thinks it's childish lol . I Love the competition and the challenge as well as the camaraderie I feel with my teammates.

I'm 52 years old and I have a son almost as old as you. He's 32. You want to come right down to it MY generation was the first to be around video games consoles. :-) anyways Arguing back to kids only shows your stooping to their level. You want to be mature?? ..First, act it!!

Had a kid tell me one time that I sucked in pvp, I'm 40 and he had a crappy lagging connection. I message him and he invites me to his party. When he and the rest of his 13 year old friends finished all their high pitched squealing, I tell him to bring two of his friends over to my fireteam and we will do a rumble match with my two clan mates. After all their screaming about wrecking old people, they got destroyed. They stayed in after the first match, but 2 minutes into the second they all left. About a minute later I get a message calling us cheaters, when we did nothing of the sort. They really had no idea how to play a real one on one match up, and got owned. I didn't use profanity, but we did tea bag each of them every time we killed them just to prove the point that they were nowhere near as good as they thought they were and shouldn't be tea bagging. It just pisses people off.
