possible to get thorn if u suck at Pvp??
I have lots of void weapons. The problem is the resetting of progress upon a death. Should I just camp and be a douch until I get it?? Any tips??
Edit: everyone has offered surprisingly helpful tips. I didn't think I would ever come close but I'm at 400 out of 500!! I hope to finish this up today. Wish me luck!!!! I'm on xbone if anyone wants to run into my void bullets lol
Edit 2. Getting pissed. Started playing now I'm at 391. This is so frustrating !!
Edit 3. Miraculously I did crucible part. Tried the strike. Had phogoth down to little health. Didn't know what to expect. A person joined at last minute and killed phogoth lol. Now I have to do strike again tomorrow!!!
Edit final: I got it!! Thanks for all the encouragement and tips!!!! U guys are great!! It is possible to get this weapon even if u suck at Pvp. I'm proof!!

4 답변I'm no PVP God and thought, at one point, that Thorn etc would never be mine. Now I have all exotic bounty weapons. My tips are to find a game mode you can continually make progress in (even if it's break-even), make sure you have void everywhere if possible (Voidwalker or Defender). If this isn't possible then a void weapon in every slot helps a lot: Word Of Crota; Sword Breaker and Truth is one example.

2 답변Here are some things I did and they work since I have three of the buggers ^^ Firstly any rarity or level gun works you can even get a Lv 8 void sniper from a golden chest on Venus. The attack number means nothing in pvp so whatever you find that is void use it ! Play control but do not play the objective at all, if you feel you are bad at pvp just hide by a control point and kill anyone who comes for it then hide again. You get 5 points per kill and -2 if you die so as long as you kill the same amount or more as you die then it should not take to long. finally if you are a hunter go blade dancer and go invisible, if a warlock save your nova bomb if you can until you find a group of people to use it on....a titan...err good luck XD

Used void walker abilities, the chosen void sniper, vog revenge sniper, corrective measure, against all odds void, valedictorian void, secret hand shake void. The word of crota was actually worse than melee fyi after accuracy nerf.

2 답변Do the rumble thing, or get atheons epilogue or other void primaries, then get secondary and heavy voids as well, fully upgrade them, and charge to battle.

1 답변Camp if you have to. Get a nice fire going at a corner of a map, look up now and again through your icebreaker scope (or whatever), and if anybody gives you shet - tell them Bungie made you do it.

1 답변It's possible. I did in Control because it's easier to kill people: you already know where they're gonna be at. I suck at PvP and it took a while (about 100 points per hour with kills and deaths) but I did it. I used a void fusion rifle to make it easier on me. If you can't go for a kill, just survive; don't die a hero. It will hurt your score.

3 답변Based on your recent games I'm guessing you're doing it on your warlock. You've got an awesome setup for it so, no tips just encouragement. From the looks of your recent k/d you should be doing great.

It's easy. I completed the bounty with a crappy white quality (level 7) fusion rifle in about <2 hrs. Granted I'm not entirely terrible at pvp I don't see it taking more than twice that if you're not that great at pvp

5 답변작성자: Yaark75 3/29/2015 5:10:51 AMI am a very poor (but improving) PVP player. As of today I am the proud owner of Thorn. I got through the PVP section in 3 nights over about 25 matches. I used a void dammerung fusion rifle and void jolders hammer machine gun (machine gun will give you more opportunities for kills than a rocket launcher). I also had axion bolts and nova bomb. Hang around with your team as much as possible and pick up scrap kills. Throw axion bolts into areas you see red bars on the radar especially as teammates are running in for the kill. I picked up many kills doing that. If I can get it done, anyone in destiny can.. including you. Xyor is a whole other world of pain. Found that harder than the PVP section, although I did complete it solo. This is one weapon I thought I would never own.. but am extremely happy to have it and look forward to upgrading and becoming another thorn annoyance in the crucible

1 답변If you have Corrective Measure you can camp like a little biotch. That's how I did the bounty on my Hunter back when I sucked.

1 답변Yes it's possible. Look at my stats and I did it. You only need a kdr of 0.4 or 0.5 or something to keep moving forward. Camp heavy. If you can shotgun, shotgun. If you can snipe, snipe. Try out Word of Crota... if you do well with it, then use it, but don't use it if it gets you killed a lot. Use whatever you're comfortable with so as not to die. I used Atheon's Epilogue and Truth...took for freaking ever. Cause I can neither snipe nor shotgun.

3 답변Very possible, load up with everything you have that's void. Does not matter if its a subclass, primary, heavy or special, as long as its void and you can kill someone with it you are golden. Camp, assist with kills and run with a pack at times. Watch your radar and ignore everything else including tasks like capturing zones. I just did it and I am low skill to average in pvp. It was had but as long as you get at least one kill per death you are good. If you have a void fusion rifle I would equip that unless you rock shotguns. Then the fun part is xyor, make sure you have arc everything because knights suck balls!
