possible to get thorn if u suck at Pvp??

I have lots of void weapons. The problem is the resetting of progress upon a death. Should I just camp and be a douch until I get it?? Any tips?? Edit: everyone has offered surprisingly helpful tips. I didn't think I would ever come close but I'm at 400 out of 500!! I hope to finish this up today. Wish me luck!!!! I'm on xbone if anyone wants to run into my void bullets lol Edit 2. Getting pissed. Started playing now I'm at 391. This is so frustrating !! Edit 3. Miraculously I did crucible part. Tried the strike. Had phogoth down to little health. Didn't know what to expect. A person joined at last minute and killed phogoth lol. Now I have to do strike again tomorrow!!! Edit final: I got it!! Thanks for all the encouragement and tips!!!! U guys are great!! It is possible to get this weapon even if u suck at Pvp. I'm proof!!

Lol i did mine with an uncommon void shotgun. If you have any void shotguns I recommend using them.

I struggled first couple of games until i used a void sniper. Just sat back an let them come to me. Also void rocket an supercharge.

Very! just keep better than a .4 KD while using only void weapons and you will make progress. Obviously, the higher the KD, the faster the progress, but just keep it up!

Just keep t it. If I can do it then any one can. I suck at PVP. Best to play with at least one friend better with two. use a void shotgun if you can.

Took me forever to get into the crucible and get it done. One day I just sat down and played until I did it. Taking a few breaks of course, after I got more used to the weapons I was using and better map awareness it went a bit more smoother. It is annoying that one bad game really hurts you but bad games are bound to happen in any online game. Have a break and get back into it, play to your strengths and if you outnumbered then run away or get somewhere more advantageous as you will get killed. I never played much if any pvp before that bounty and now I quite enjoy it, I'm not amazing at it but I do find it fun. Good luck!

It's totally possible. I'm ass at pvp and I did it with a blue shotgun during ib. If you can't do it you don't deserve the weapon.

It can be done my friend I am proof of that, my KD going into the bounty was around 0.7, I was horrible. I found control the best option, you can see what points are getting capped, and the skulls give you 2 points of reference for where people are, don't just run into gunfights as you want to stay positive. This bounty gave me the bug to get better in the Crucible and I have improved, I am not amazing, but I normally come out of a game with a positive KDR. Stay positive and don't give up.

Once you hit 400 it's like you can see the peak of the mountain and its within reach. I have a Gunslinger and used a full auto Secret Handshake and a void machine gun. The shotty did it for me though. Played Control and tore up on the tight maps. Man what a grind. Wait til Xyor. Tried it with one guy and failed twice. Went in with a Defender and Sunsinger and completed on first attempt. Good strike though. I ran Thorn, Bad Juju and Invective bounties at the same time. Now I truly enjoy Crucible.

Was finding it a bit tough few months back so decided to go back to it with void felwinters and jolders hammer. Took about 10/12 matches.

I hot it twice and im horrible at pvp im the first to admit it. I used atheons epilogue or word of crota. Either void fusion or swordbreaker. And corrective measure. Try doing it on control and avoid taking objectives because bigger chance of deaths

It's not that bad it goes much faster even with the reset thing.. Just know it won't be fast and play a lot of control and stick around B flag and kill as the other team try's to capture..

Trust me. I suck a PvP. Get a void sniper and go on combined arms. Snipe the life out of the enemies but stay on edges of map and always check motion sensor.

Word of crota Swordbreaker Harms way & void walker setup with obsidian mind That was my set up last night an I did it in about 7/8 games, had that bounty lingering for months haha

I found sniping/machine gunning in control worked best. Everyone goes to the same places so just hang back and snipe. Its a dirty tactic since you wont want to be taking any control points. But it works.

Get a void weapon. Take 2 friends with u in free for all. Take a spot in the map and kill youre 2 friends. Thats what i did. It took me less than 1 hour
