I was kicked for using Fatebringer.
I found a group for the Nightfall off of LFG, and the leader asked me if I could use a 331 weapon. I said I had the fang, but wanted to use my Fatebringer. I was then removed from the fire team... Wtf
Edit: found 2 different people, and ended up doing the nightfall on all characters with them. While using the Fatebringer.
Edit 2: I have found out there's lot of people like this :/
Edit 3: don't worry guys, I now understand that higher attack is better. Next time I'll just use Necrochasm because it has a higher attack.
Edit 4: this was on the Phogoth arc Nightfall by the way.

8 답변I wouldn't kick anyone for bringing fatebringer at this point in the game. While they do have a point I'd rather you use what you are most comfortable with. It's still an arc primary for crying out loud. Although, it's hard to argue with that bonus damage against hive majors from Fang. I personally like fang for anything Hive related.

42 답변Wait..... If Fatebringer is 300 dmg and Fang is 331 dmg, but the enemies are lv30; does that not mean both weapons are doing max damage anyways? I thought it worked on levels, 300-309 does max on level 30 but reduced on level 31 or 32. 310-319 max on 31 and under, 320+ max on lv32+. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

If the entire team has to use a 331 weapon to beat a nightfall, then you are probably playing with a bunch of scrubs, squeakers, stupid people, or Christmas noobs. When you find some chill people on group boards make sure you friend add them that way you avoid the horror of random people searching. After months of squad building, I would sooner not or wait to raid, nightfall, or weekly than take most pubs.

I used fang over Fatebringer because firefly is useful on 4 mobs this week and thrall don't concern me. Firefly cannot do damage if the only enemy around is the one you are killing. Honestly it is personal choice. Besides Thunderlord this week was my primary.

Those guys are suckers.. Keep playing with the fatebringer is the best arc primary weapon on the game... And one thing the numbers 331 and 300 don't mean anything. I'm a first day player and long time ago I found out that what matter is the bar showing u how much damage the weapon does, I have one hand cannon that is 291 and has the same damage that fatebringer, I went to the moon and I shoot a major knight level 30, the damage was 235 then I shoot the same knight with the fatebringer and 235 also, so I check how many bullets it take to kill the knight both weapons killed the knight in 5 shoots. So what I care about on all weapons are the perks and the damage bar. I run Crota's end with the vision of confluence.

This post haha!! Made me laugh. People that choose fang over FateBringer is stupid. Now if it's for a medium to long range then fang for sure. But since light switch is on (no need to use shotgun) I would be using a sniper. Don't worry about people like that.

3 답변They are noobs. Fatebringer is the single best legendary to use in arc burn nightfall period. It has already been proven that the difference between 300 and 331 is negligible.

what??!!?!!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! Fatebringer is better than any 331 damage primary legendary gun i know. i use it for every arc burn nightfall. i would have loved to do the nightfall with you. I'm sorry for the inconvenience to you for using such a great gun.

Sounds like the leader of that fire team is a moron. If arc burn is active not only will your fatebringer OHK almost anything that is weaker than a knight, but the resulting explosion will kill all the other enemies around it.
