I was kicked for using Fatebringer.
I found a group for the Nightfall off of LFG, and the leader asked me if I could use a 331 weapon. I said I had the fang, but wanted to use my Fatebringer. I was then removed from the fire team... Wtf
Edit: found 2 different people, and ended up doing the nightfall on all characters with them. While using the Fatebringer.
Edit 2: I have found out there's lot of people like this :/
Edit 3: don't worry guys, I now understand that higher attack is better. Next time I'll just use Necrochasm because it has a higher attack.
Edit 4: this was on the Phogoth arc Nightfall by the way.

Fatebringer is scaled to level 30, so it won't start underperforming until at least level 32 Nightfalls, so all these people are idiots if they think a 331 weapon is gonna serve you better. Even at 32 I think Fatebringer will be extrememly strong on Arc burn.

14 답변300 Weapons have no damage fall off for level 30 enemies.. 331 is level 33. Only found in Crota hard. You were better off not playing with them.

작성자: PedalOnTheRight 3/30/2015 7:06:21 PMBe glad you didn't end up playing it with them... likely jealous and terrible I used FB the last 2 weeks on arc burn nightfalls/weeklies and switched to OE/Fang/Nechro at times to compare Fang/OE both solid - nod to OE against hive for making knights wall of darkness a "bonus time" of me shooting them while they are not shooting back, also shredded fallen captains with arc shields and surprisingly good head shot machine Fatebringer did not seem under powered at all - and most fun to use of the 4 arc primaries I have - switched to OE whenever we got back into it with the knights although the runs where I was testing Song of Ir Yut vs other arc heavies, I just kept FB equipped and mowed down knights with Song. How do you put a number on a weapon that can blow up entire packs in 1 shot??? Even with arc burn, Nechro was practically useless - dancing was only slightly less effective at killing enemies. btw: someone tries telling me what to use, I'll take myself to orbit

Yeah you and your 300 weapons suck even though fb has higher impact and can 1 shot more enemies. I personally like the fang better RIGHT NOW but I am a hand cannon lover. Btw necro is the best gun it has the highest attack right lol?

1 답변Fatebringer still does more damage than fang. It's impact is higher. A headshot with fatebringer is around 4500 to normal targets, fang is 3000 I believe.

2 답변I used fatebringer for all weeklies and nightfalls this week. It wasn't even fully levelled ( one level off max) but when I compared it to my fully levelled timurs lash ( highest impact handcannons in the game) which also has explosive rounds, fatebringer was still taking down knights quicker

Normally I'd agree that Fatebringer is better. I think the NF this week kinda evens it out though, since Fang does more damage to Hive Majors, and the majority of the difficult enemies are all majors without many smaller enemies around to take advantage of Firefly well. I'll be darned if I take Fang over FB in an Arc Burn Omnigul strike though. Fatebringer blows Fang out of the water for that. :P

1 답변In all honesty dude, what your comfortable with is almost as important as damage. While using a weapon with 50 less damage isn't as effective, it's better than swinging around a weapon you have no experiance or comfort with

6 답변If it's arc based and arc burn, who cares?!?! I used Oversoul Edict and crushed the nightfall, I'm guessing Fatebringer with the burn wouldn't be that far behind.
