I was kicked for using Fatebringer.
I found a group for the Nightfall off of LFG, and the leader asked me if I could use a 331 weapon. I said I had the fang, but wanted to use my Fatebringer. I was then removed from the fire team... Wtf
Edit: found 2 different people, and ended up doing the nightfall on all characters with them. While using the Fatebringer.
Edit 2: I have found out there's lot of people like this :/
Edit 3: don't worry guys, I now understand that higher attack is better. Next time I'll just use Necrochasm because it has a higher attack.
Edit 4: this was on the Phogoth arc Nightfall by the way.

1 답변I would be more likely to boot someone for using necrochasm. The fatebringer is beast. Lol (but honestly I wouldnt boot someone unless they were using something completely useless like a void primary during an arc burn nf)

Ok so there are always people who think you have to have certain equipment. But while the gjally is useful, what really matters is just that people know what they are doing or are at least able to follow directions. All of my easiest raids don't happen with all high levels, it's when people are willing to work for it. If you have to require all 32s with a 331 weapon to beat it, it's probably because your bad attitude makes it difficult for everyone else. Also this game was made to cater to different playstyles. I even read a lfg that flat said "no warlocks they're useless", which is totally umacceptable to me. That's definitely not how this game was meant to be played

1 답변작성자: O_Town_Racer 4/1/2015 1:16:50 PMI was using my new Word of Crota (still only around 300 damage), LDR 5001 sniper (331), and Truth (331). I probably used the WoC the majority of the time and it did just fine. Ran through all 3 characters. You need to find some friends to play with and ditch LFG. As long as you have 300 damage weapons (or better) with the appropriate burn, you'll do fine in Nightfall. Just remember to hang back and avoid melee attack when lightswitch is in effect. Also avoid fire from weapons which are of the same burn type for the week.

2 답변Max fate ringer does more damage than max fang. Oh my god who would of guessed. People are so stupid and don't know how the damage system works.

1 답변Honestly, those guys are d***s and quite dumb. Yes, it´s capped at 331, but against waves of minions Fatebringers wrecks the house. I use it in every Arc-burned Nightfall and I get amazing results because I usually get 3-4 kills per headshot. In the Omnigul strike, Thralls just vanish. There was even a guy running that Nightfall with me (two weeks ago) who asked me, visibily surprised, what kind of weapon I was using to kill stuff so fast. Plus, if you need higher damage for majors and whatnot, your Special weapon will do the trick. Rock on with that Fatebringer!
