Bungie literally almost doubled vault space for weapons and yet people are complaining. This will be a huge benefit, and most people like myself have tons of armor space and a decent amount of item space but struggled with weapon space. If you have multiple characters just spread your shit out among them, I really don't get how you wont have enough room. When this update drops, and you find that you don't have enough room, it means you are keeping a lot of shit that you don't need. . This community just can't ever be happy. Thanks Bungie, you guys are obviously listening, please ignore all the whiners they do not represent the majority of your community although it may seem that way quite often.
Edit: Bungie even hints that this is not the end of vault space updates, this is just the first short term fix. They also explained exactly why they can't just add unlimited vault space, yet people still ask why lol this community doesn't read update notes yet still complains lol.
Edit 2: There is strategy in maintaining your inventory space efficiently, all part of the game in my opinion. You have to make smart decisions about what's worth keeping and what's not. This adds another element of strategy to the game.

Have no idea what it's like to not get an update/patch/DLC for a game, EVER. Have never spent 10-20 bucks just to play a few games with terrible graphics that never change for a grand total of 1 -blam!-ing day. Have never had to grind xp for hours upon hours just to go up a level or 2 a day so they can beat that endgame boss they've been stuck on for weeks. Have never held a controller with less than 12 buttons. Don't know what it's like to have to talk to someone without the use of a keyboard, mic, or webcam. Have no idea that "end game content" used to mean "END GAME -blam!-ING CONTENT". When you were done, you were done. You could give these kids 1000 slots in the vault and they'd just move on to the next thing to bitch about and the vicious cycle of cry, whine, get what they want, and cry some more would start all over again. Go play an RPG from the 90s and then come back and tell us these updates aren't enough.

1 답변One thing that's not mentioned enough is that it takes a while to upgrade weapons, especially if there's priority for other weapons in that slot. Like for instance if I got three different vendor launchers and I want to upgrade all of them before testing them out in the crucible id have to keep them all stored. What bothers me about vault space is that it's already too late. I've trashed a lot of weapons and gear already. It's kind of like when they introduced exotic shards just days after I dismantled all of my extra exotics.
-
see my problem is wanting to have all raid weapons and I have almost all exotics they take up majority of space but I'm happy I wish vault space would be enough to store all Raid weapons and all exotics (1 of each) and sounds like this update will be close

1 답변Each character can hold 30 weapons, including those equipped. 30x3 is 90, plus 36 in the vault is a total of 126 weapon slots? I'm OK with that. There are definitely some weapons I actively switch between characters more than others, and my issue with vault space has been needing to dump weapons I don't plan on using soon (guns that are in the queue to be leveled up) onto characters in order to make space in the vault to switch everything around. The extra 16 slots will definitely resolve this issue for me, so I'm happy with the additional space for now.

For many the problem isn't the extra slots now. They just simply see the problem coming. Just having one of each exotic already nearly fills the vault, if there was some kind of guarantee that a more permanent solution would exist in Comet then you wouldn't see such a backlash but as it stands it's a band-aid solution that many of us hope doesn't become the only solution until Destiny 2.

yeah, I don't see how people are keeping this many guns. Lets do some math, 36 guns in the vault. Each character can hold 10 primary, secondary, and heavy on their character, so 30 guns. That's 66 guns if you only have one character. 126 guns if you have 3. And yes, this leaves no room to pick any new weapons up from drops, but really 126 GUNS, are there even that many good exotic and legendary guns in this game. I, too thought this would be a problem until I realized i don't even want to have doubles of exotics and most legendaries becasue the time it takes to fully upgrade (and the mats cost + grind) isn't worth it. Exotic stats are the same no matter how many ghorns you have right? Who's taking the time to level all these weapons.

1 답변1st of all, thank you so much to Bungie for giving the increase in weapon space to 36 in vault. When u have 3 characters of primary, special and heavy - you can store up to 3 x 30 = 90 weapons at anyone time. Now with 36 slots in vault u are looking at 126 slots.. How can u use up those slots if you are not having two or more of the same legendary or exotic weapons? Are you having too many weapons of the same kind? I am thankful for the upgrade.

Ageeed, i was actually surprised by how much vault space they plan to add. Seeing the picture too, it made me laugh and i was excited. I have more than enough space for everything but guns right now. I have 3 characters maxed out with several outfits, they're different characters too, not to mention I collect all exotics (just missing the titan boots, ghorn, necrochasm, and thunderlord). Anyone who doesnt have 3 characters could easily make one and use him as a mule. Theres no excuse for complaining about this update, kids just need to shut up. Seriously, this game should have had a little bit of blood on a wall somewhere just so it could be rated M.
Our challenge was to provide an increase in storage that fit within the memory constraints that limit how many items can be displayed on one screen.
This is what bugs me. If this is the issue why not just make an LB/RB option like we have on the menu to swap between multiple screens in the vault... Don't get me wrong, I'm doing games design and learning coding, so maybe I'll learn in future why this didn't happen, but goddamn, I wish they at least explained why this wasn't done...
