Vault Space increased? What a joke

Here's a solution that could have been thought up by a 4 year old: "[u][b]Page scrolling[/b][/u]"
Not to push the boat out or anything but if it really is just a RAM issue caused by displaying too many items at once, why not just have multiple pages and give us a much bigger increase that way?
This may be a decent enough upgrade fir now, in fact, by Bungies own admission it will be big enough to allow the collection of every exotic weapon up to and including HoW. But what then? Another measly upgrade to tie us over until the next DLC drops?
Seriously Bungie, patience is wearing very thin for a lot of people who are holding on until HoW drops. Unless big changes happen between now and then? Say goodbye to your fan-base after it's been completed...
EDIT: Also, having browsed the forums I'm seeing a lot of people reacting to the fact that it's a problem caused by wanting parity with last-gen consoles. Personally, I'm indifferent towards it, however I can sense a rift opening between current and last gen owners now. If it wasn't there before, then this is, at the very least a catalyst that will cause one. [b]NOT[/b] a particularly smart move by Bungie...

1 답변How has this game even being updated? They say it's a constantly evolving game but all they really have done is add options which should have been in the game in the first place I'm sorry but destiny plays on people's reward system in order to keep the player playing. That's a cheap way to extend a games life and just gives an excuse to say that the game has depth. Repost this if u don't give a -blam!- anymore!

4 답변I think we will see more vault space later but this is what they could do fairly quickly and may even have other in testing. They would have to completely change the UI in order to add scrolling to or even tabs which means more bugs and a complete rebuild.

4 답변I was hoping to have more spaces for everything. Not sure about you all, but I'm really struggling with materials/ consumables. So many shaders, ships, materials, synthesis, telemetry and etc. My vault and characters are all at 80% capacity except armors. I hope additional space part2 will come soon...

3 답변Oh look the person who knows nothing about coding/programming is stating what needs to be done to fix the issue. While page scrolling would be nice if its not originally built into the system then you have to practically rebuild the system from the ground up.

2 답변My understanding on the issue is that page scrolling is a good solution but not possible at this time. The reason for this is that adding more space is somewhat of an easy codeing procedure but with the limited memory issue on passed gen it took them some time to work out the memory issue which is why we have had to wait so long. The reason they cannot do page scrolling is they would have to completely re-write the whole code that is the vault space which would take some time and would run into it own challenges because they do not want to make any drastic changes that can impact the current game. Im not an expert at codeing but this is what one of my buddies told me and he has been codeing for about 10 years.

1 답변I think it is a complete joke to give only 16 more gun slots. For people that play a fair amount like to have more than one of certain exotics and 36 slots is just not enough. They should do pages or something along those lines but they need to bump it to 100 or something large like that.
