How is the flag holder at the beginning of crucible matches determined?
I am sure this has been asked a few times before, but I can't figure out how to properly search, so this seemed like an easier alternative.

Evidence? My friends and myself are all 32. I have the highest grimour score. Been playing a month after they started. Medal score is in between. Myself and 1 other friend usually come 1 and 2 on the scoreboard. Each of my friends have held the flag. Completely random.

1 답변I think it's who had the best score in there previous game (played control for around 2 hours an it seemed to work like that)

3 답변If all are 32, I can safely say it is not random. In a group of my level 32 friends, one particular guy always has the flag, and if he is not with us, I always hold the flag, etc. It's not grimoire, K/D ratio, or alphabetical... Someone suggested medals - can anyone confirm?

작성자: Wooly 3/28/2015 11:14:40 PMIt's the Highest level on your team you cabbages, how is this even a debate? Obviously there are probably going to be a few 32's or whatever so it selects one at random or with the best connection is what I have theorised.

I've wondered this for the longest time. It isn't level. I always play with a friend, and I used to hold the flag ~90% of the time. He never held it when I was in game (including when I equipped my armor for crucible, lowering myself to level 28) About a month ago, it flip flopped, he always held the flag and I never did. Now we switch off holding it. If it were K/D or medal score, there's no way it would switch so often. I know it isn't level. It can't be random with how consistently I held it over him. We are stumped. We tested score in the previous match and disproved that too. It isn't grimoire ( mine is higher than his) we can't think of anything else to test.
