When you meet up with randoms in strikes / raids etc, what is the first thing you look at to judge them?
We all do it, so what do you see first?
Mine has always been grimoire due to the fact that you can buy your way to level 31 now, I usually assume anyone with 2500+ grimoire is a day one / beta player. I also have a bit of a hard on for checking what heavy they're using.. Not sure why :P
What about you guys?

I do know the level limits for strikes and raids, so if they are already too far below the limit, I know by the numbers how badly they will do.

I judge them by how they play, if they die a lot then they are taking too many risks, but that could be because they feel the other tam members are competent enough to fix any mistakes they make. all the things you listed are nothing anyone even a casual scrub can get! grimoire onl;y means that you took the time to find the hidden things bungie put in the game, in no way does it mean you are good, light level, armour, weapons, faction upgrades? again any scrub can get these, only thing you can properly judge is play style! enough with this misguided crap seriously people if they aren't good by your standards than leave the damn group. END RANT!

This applies only to raids for me. Obviously light level is the first thing I check, but the thing I critique people on the hardest is weapons. I'm not a guy who says you have to run a Gjallarhorn with the Black Hammer or whatever. If you want to run your favorite rocket launcher or auto rifle, go for it. I only ask that no matter what you bring your best. A maxed out weapon is way more effective than one you just got. This one time at Atheon, some kid got his squeaker friend to join in for the fight. We kept wiping and noticed the squeaker had pitiful kills. Offhand I ask what gun he's using, then inspect him to make sure he wasn't lying. He didn't lie, but he did say "Universal Remote, I just got it from Xur and I'm leveling it up." I desperately wanted to kick him but I wasn't the leader, so I just took a second to tell him it's a poor choice in this fight. I think he eventually switched out, but on our winning run he ended up dead first and hit carried by the rest of us. If only there was a way I could check competence, man.

2 답변I look at weapons in strikes, raids, missions, and crucible so I can see what they're using and determined whether they're going to be of use. When I see someone using bad juju or abyss defiant in VOG I just know they're not going to do anything.

3 답변I don't have a 2500+ and I have been here since the beta but anyway I always look at the grimoire to see how long somebody has been playing
