Wondering what your arguments against it are flood. I'm for it
Reasons for:
95% of the world is already using it
It's already being used in the medical world
Much easier conversion
Easier to teach children in our schools 1 measurement system as opposed to 2
It's very important to know when travelling outside of the U.S.
easier for tourists coming in to the U.S. (but some selfish people would say why do I care)
Anyways. Thoughts, flood?

작성자: I Heart Noobies 3/24/2015 4:56:54 PMAs an engineering student, yes. Force lb is different from weight lb. It's a massive cluster cluck. That, and metrics are prettier. Some pros: Dick seems bigger in cm Kg is bigger than lb, so you weigh less units in metrics Hectaliters. Some cons: Dogmatic people refusing to change? None, otherwise

1 답변No, because Celsius is shit for anything outside of science reactions and such. Nobody uses Decimeters as they are about 4 inches long and Feet are fine.

2 답변I wouldn't mind using the same thing as the rest of the world. But then, it's our 'MERICAN system at the same time y'know?

작성자: Nogha 3/26/2015 4:06:17 AMAs an American, the metric system is so much easier to convert. Everything is just so simple. But as an American I find that inches are better for measuring than centimeters, feet are better then decimeters, yards better than meters, mile better than kilometers, so on, etc. But of course, that's just me, as a natural born American.

I use both pretty often. Don't really see a problem with knowing more than one given that metric is taught for it's usefulness in science and math while imperial is useful for estimations and (with regards to temperature) weather.
