i myself am atheist but i don't believe i should discriminate who i play with because of religion. that's the farthest thing i think of while playing destiny. but not every atheist thinks alike. we might not believe in a religion and i says cheers to that but we don't have the same point of view when it comes down to it.

I am commenting again because I still can't get fully comprehend what I just read. I went over it several times looking for the joke or some sort of punchline. It wasn't until the 3rd time that I realized that this guy is for real. I laughed. I respect everyone's right be believe or not believe in whatever they want. It doesn't matter what you are, so long as you are a good person. I just wanted to get that out of the way. I guess my question is, why does this have to be a thing? Like seriously. Atheist/agnostic here, could give less of a shit what religion people have when I play with them. I don't need to play with "rational" people, come on op have some respect.

Dude I seriously don't care what people believe in, their religion or atheism does not concern me, as long as they don't bring it up during the game at which point I will either not make a comment or ask them to shut up about it if it annoys me. Alternatively I will leave or boot them (if I have the power to do so) I just want to play the game.

Rational people don't accept or deny the presence of a God. Rational people are agnostics, and can admit that humans have ABSOLUTELY no way of knowing whether or not a God exists. Don't you think it is rather arrogant as humans for us to claim we know something we cannot possibly know?? I certainly do.
