Has anyone at Bungie ever fired a Pistol?
Anything farther than 50 yards your not going to be able to hit a moving target 3 or 4 shots in a row, your not going to be able to out gun a scout rifle or sniper rifle from all the way across the map with your Hawkmoon.
Hand Cannons have gotten dumb, fix the range......
So worried about auto rifles and shot guns, meanwhile this junk is silly.

oh yes, it's sci-fi fantasy. Therefor several people seem to think that it is a good idea that range is absolutely irrelevant, and weapons designed to shoot across the map like scout and sniper rifles, should just be tossed in the trash as we all adopt the Hawkmoon or Thorn for essentially every battle tactic? Because no one at Bungie has ever caught on fire and done a Scorch Melee, lets just abandon any premis of weapon believability.

I've had a bit of hands on experience with 12 gauge shotguns. I could clearly and consistently shatter multiple flying targets at ranges beyond 70 metres in rapid succession. Videogames are not always meant to represent reality. Thank christ we don't have shotguns with an effective range of 50+ metres in Destiny. I will agree with you that Handcannons have become far too versatile. They're bleeding over into roles already occupied by other weapon classes. From a gameplay perspective, it is an absurd balancing decision.

Look how quickly weapons have evolved in the last 200ish years.......

I have a hard time figuring out how to balance one weapon type without butting into another weapon type. Maybe there are just too many weapon types? Maybe they all need to be made more specialized? But extreme specialization would mean certain weapons just aren't usable in certain situations...which doesn't sounds fun.

2 답변Have you ever shot a pistol? 50 yards isn't that far for a 45acp or 40 harder to hit moving yes but your not using a slingshot kid. Just like a shotgun anything more than 4 inches it's a -blam!-ing sniper rifle go back to call of duty before your friends have to log before bedtime plus this is just a game.....

4 답변작성자: LAWLr 3/19/2015 4:15:55 PMWHAT ABOUT SHOTGUNS!!!!!! why not complain about shotguns? they are way more off from realism than the hand cannons are. a slug gun with a rifled barrel can shoot 250 yards and hold a 2 inch spread. even some spread shotties can hold a tight spread at 200 yards while being fully auto cough cough aa 12( assuming the shooter stabilizes the recoil) universal remote should shoot slugs, not a spread

16 답변If you haven't hit anything past 50 yards with a pistol, I suggest you get more range time. I have seen people hit targets up to 300 yards out with a pistol. Easy, no. But can it be done, yes. Also it is easy to hit moving targets. Just lead them. You posting this, proves how little you know about shooting guns.

Apply your real world weapon handling prowess to my fusion rifle and I'll consider your argument. What's that you can't? Oh, right, that's because that gun doesn't exist in real life, because this is a FICTITIOUS VIDEO GAME.
