A Roc please sir, hold the cheese.
Just finished playing some strikes from the Roc playlist and was amazed at the number of players cheesing certain sections.
[i]Archon Priest[/i]
Players sniping from the cliff or on the ketch while clearing the 3 waves of vex.
Players sniping the boss from up on the cliff.
[i]Nexus[/i]
Players staying up on the ledge or in the cheesing spot during the boss fight.
[i]Phogoth[/i]
Players sniping from the shrieker room, never really being able to contribute seeing as how the rest of us have him aggro'd down the other end of the room.
Why do people do this? Is it laziness, or just old-fashioned scrubbery? Funnily enough, these players usually finished with less than half as many kills, yet were consistently awarded the best loot.
"Oh look, you got 33 kills, have a Mida Multi Tool".
"What's that, sir? You were dead most of the strike? Legendary Engram".
*Shakes fist at sky* "Curse you RNG! Curse you.

2 답변I agree, I don't mind as long as their contributing a little bit, but I hate it when on a level 26 strike a level 30+ will hide, HIDE! What's the point of you being here if your not going to shot the thing. Maybe it's the ''Do a strike while not dying'' bounty, but if your level 30+ you should not be hiding from level 26 enemies. Grrr, rant over!

1 답변For most of the boss fights I like to find a spot to use my black hammer, I'll keep the boss staggered while you take out the adds bud

They are there to achieve an objective and they do. & never ever it should be your worry what other GOT, they invested time and they got something, Feel happy ( your life will be so much better )

I cheese some strikes like Archon from the cliff and valus from the right gap next to the stairs just because I can destroy them with black hammer pretty quickly. Some strikes like phogoth I get stuck in and run around. I just do whatever it takes to get the job done in the quickest time. Sometimes it's faster to cheese, sometimes it isnt

Re the archon priest. I'm not a synth horder, so when I get to the cliffs I've essentially got 14 gjallarhorns and a full clip of sniper ammo ready to rain down on them, and as I'm not down there aggroing them they stay clumped in nice little groups for me to destroy. It's not a cheese, it's a better method. Git gud scrub etc.

2 답변they might have less kills because they are just focusing down the necessary bosses. If my weapons and glimmer are maxed I just kill bosses. I don't cheese it cause thats boring to me but most people who have been playing for a while ignore adds

5 답변Whilst I'll openly admit to cheesing certain strikes, I would much prefer to see there be severe in-game penalties for cheesers such as new enemy spawns to combat it e.g. Phogoth Cheesers get an Orgre or Hallowed Wizard spawn BEHIND them Nexus cheesers get three Minotaurs and not just one Devil's Lair - Devil Walker can target the other side of the map and fire in succession faster Archon Priest - Dropships target cheese snipers, hobgoblins and minotaurs spawn from the entrance to the 'ketch' section The argument that because you've paid for it means you can play it how you want is invalid.

2 답변There is a great phrase that I like to use, "Think smarter, not harder." Those "cheese" spots are the smartest locations to quickly finish off the final bosses of a ROC strike. You think you're taking the high road by insulting those that actually try to get them done quickly, but you're just being an annoying brat.

Well that is besides tonight: Finally got the Black Hammer and was running strikes for bounties and so far I've gotten 6 legendary engrams!so far they have come in packs of two: one drop during strike another at the end :3 It's like it's my BIRTHDAY!!! Or something

7 답변I was on my level 15 or 16 Titan one time. I was playing the regular lvl 11 phogoth strike not even ROC. And I got matched up with a level 31 and his level 15 buddy and they were using the shrieker room spot. How bad do you have to be as a 31 in a level 11 strike to do that??

I hate t when we do ROC strikes on Phogoth and someone stays at the entrance (Shrieker room). It is clearly the agGRO ROOM, GET OUT OF THERE BEFORE YOU KILL US ALL! Anyway, I don't see the point in cheesing ROC strikes. Compared to NF or weekly, they're really easy so I hate to say this but if you're a level late 20s or 30s, you have no reason to cheese it. Be careful, yes, but don't cheat. Just finish the strike real fast, you know you have the manpower to do so.

1 답변Idc if I make it through the strike playlist with 1 kill, the point for me is to get as many done in as little time as possible! Also half that stuff isn't a "cheese"? De spawning enemy's and climbing over stuff is considered a glitch to me

작성자: Swiftlock 3/18/2015 10:13:53 AMNo thanks. I will continue to camp in safe spots with Black Hammer and quickly obliterate Sekrion, Sepiks, Aksor, and Fallen Walkers. However, of course there are bosses that you're better off fighting without camp spots, like Valus, Flayers, Undying Mind, etc.
